"I decided to shoot in my bedroom first, to show my comfortable, naked self, but then the light was really difficult to work with so I went outside. Occasionally I had to hide from some kayakers going down the river. I couldn't take my shoes off because the ground was all wet, but I think the shoes simply emphasize the nakedness."
