"This shoot is centred around the colour red, a colour that symbolises passion, lust, primal life, and danger. I planned on doing a rooftop shoot but the door to that floor in my apartment complex was locked so the 8th floor stairwell became my studio instead. The dusty concrete floors were my canvas as I twisted and contorted my body for the camera. I could hear the constant echo of lift noises, and the fluorescent overhead lights kept going off every ten minutes. I had to stumble around butt naked in pitch darkness to find the light switch way too many times. There were also times when I rushed for my jacket after hearing footsteps on the lower floors. Thankfully no one caught me but there might have been a CCTV camera, so the guard reviewing the footage that day was probably very entertained. As my camera's memory card started to fill up, I grabbed my bag and headed back to my bedroom; the dusty knees and red scratches on my butt as little souvenirs from the experience."
