"It's been four years since my last shoot and I started this one thinking it would be as easy as last time. I remember feeling empowered and sexy and not finding it difficult to be creative and sexy - it just seemed to flow. This time I was surprised by how much harder and confronting I found it. My body was older, not as firm or as fit as my thirty year old self and I rejected more images initially because of that but then I began to see the true beauty in just being me. I didn't use many props, I experimented with makeup including very minimal amounts and tried to invoke as much authenticity as I felt - the raw self."
