‘ONSEN’ by

"I did this shoot in Japan. I wanted to show some of my favourite parts of an incredible country. The crazy beautiful nature, 'Onsen' (traditional Japanese baths/hot pools), and tea! If there's one other thing I could have added it would have been food. Being in my natural naked state in some of mother nature's finest work, up in the mountains of southern Japan, I felt the bliss of such a peaceful place. It was awesome. She is the sauciest of mistresses. After a few hours of hanging out with the trees, the mosquitoes finally started to win their siege... I moved in to the Onsen. I took what photos I could before I started to get wary of the time, the local Japanese people would be coming in to bathe soon and cameras are definitely not allowed. I melted happily into the water. I wanted to do the last part of my shoot somewhere with typical rice paper screens and a tatami mat floor but alas, it came to my last week in Japan and it didn't seem like I'd have the chance. So I worked with the room I had :) Enjoy!"
