ARTISTS STATEMENT

There's something very revealing about being naked - obviously - but something much more true and uncomfortable and sweet and on the spot than just having your skin and sex uncovered. Partly it's self conscious about how you want to represent yourself - which is revealing in itself. But partly it's also the truth of yourself in front of a camera with 100 shots to get through. I reckon for everyone, that would include a mix of posed and offguard, pretentious and uncomfortable, sexy and squidgy - cause we all have all of it in us. The beauty is being able to admit all of it - to reveal it all - allow a self portrait which is somehow a complex, true, human reality.
