ARTISTS STATEMENT

I must admit to being more than a little apprehensive about appearing on ISM. However, I am lucky enough to have a pushy and fearless girlfriend, who is great at bringing me out of myself. Once into the shoot, all fear subsided and it was hilarious trying to hide from passers-by/dogwalkers/perverts, etc. I think this Project is a great way for people to lose their fear and learn to enjoy being photographed, despite not feeling 'perfect'. It's good to see us as we really are, and not airbrushed supermodels. Now I realise that if anyone has a problem with me being naked, it's their problem, and they'll be the embarrassed ones.
