ARTISTS STATEMENT

As I (very gradually) am growing up, I am really learning to love and respect my body more. Upon hearing of I Shot Myself I thought - what a fantastic concept! But do I have the balls to do it? Well, it turns out I did...and it has been such a fun and empowering experience. I'm proud of my folio and the way I look. There is no glamour, no bright lights, just me and a camera in my messy room. I love that. This represents me - just as I am. I hope people enjoy looking at my folio as much as I enjoyed making it!
