ARTISTS STATEMENT

My transformation from an ideological, single, young woman is becoming complete, as I form an acceptance of my new image as a mother, somewhat tired, and devoid of time for emotional self-indulgence. Instead of waiting for 'it', or wondering, 'what if?' I have learned to appreciate the awesomeness of sleeping in, a sink free of dishes, and a baby who has learned how to walk. My shoot reflects my new, true self... yes, there's laundry begging to be done, projects long forgotten, and beautiful clothes left on hangers, too precious for baby's dirty hands, but I am one with my surroundings, and the choices that have led to them. That's my DOMESTIC ZEN. :)
