ARTISTS STATEMENT

I’ve always been comfortable in front of the camera and comfortable in my own skin. Shooting myself was a whole new thing, the experience brought up lots of different conflicting views for me. Ideas which I will contribute to my own art practise. I’m interested in the public / private aspect of ism. I’m intrigued by the viewer. I wasn’t thinking about them while shooting but now I’m creating stories. I found the autonomy I had with the shots I was to submit gave me a level of control which is unheard of in most porn situations. The location of set let me create something that I was happy to be shot in.
