ARTISTS STATEMENT

I'm a photographer and I used to work with performers, body artists, life models but this for me was the first time focusing only on myself. Exploring my body from different point of view and absolutely having fun. I waned to give an ironic-funny eye on me. I loved being naked, the feeling of freedom, I love to sleep naked, I love public nudity, I don't see anything sexual in it, It's just being what I am. We should not be ashamed of our body and what people think. This project helped me to be more confident and it was fun/Sono una fotografa e sono abituata a lavorare con performer, modelli, body artists, questa pero' per me e' stata la prima volta in cui mi sono concentrata su me stessa osservando il mio corpo da diversi punti di vista e divertendomi! E' stata un esperienza che ho affrontato con ironia, mi piace stare nuda, dormire nuda, il senso di liberta'. Non ci vedo niente di sessuale, e' semplicemente essere quello che siamo. Non dovremmo vergognarci del nostro corpo e di quello che pensano gli altri quindi
