ARTISTS STATEMENT

I was impressed by many people's work shown on the site, and the talent required to take photos themselves. The ISM Project is a brilliant idea, which gives the artist control. I wanted to do this for experience. I am the only one of my girlfriends who is totally comfortable with my body. Every year I discover new curves and I'd rather be curvy than a matchstick. I am completely new to using a digital camera, let alone taking photos of myself, so it was awesome to give it a go! I find nudity refreshing. Everyone has a beautiful body which is unique to them, so why not show it off. Especially in a tasteful way, such as the ISM Project - which allows us to go only as far as we feel comfortable...
