"I shot myself at my new flat, it's a beautiful art deco apartment with great big windows and tall ceilings. I learnt that my neighbours can see into my bedroom, whoops! The experience made me feel liberated. I don't often look at my body from so many different angles and when I do take photos I usually make my body as smooth and flat as possible. This experience made me realise that bumps and folds are beautiful too."

"This morning I was going to work but decided to take some selfies instead, it was nice weather and good light also. I bought new sports underwear to take pictures in, and fooling around in the new stuff is just necessary, so I decided to take different cool selfies - and then add some sparkle in the form of gradual nudity. I really love the freedom that nude photography offers you. It's so silly how taboo nudity and porn still is, and I'm glad that there's sites like ISM continuing to try and change that fact. I hope you like looking at my photos as much as I enjoyed taking them."

Hey! Look what we found hiding away in the archives over the last thirteen years... here's what she said: "I'm a morning person. And because I'm an early riser, I always try and get some fresh morning air with my tea before I start my day and head into work. Today was especially crisp. It was also so peaceful and calm while shooting. During the shoot I heard a car pull up but thank god it was just the neighbors and not my roommate! After the shoot I noticed I felt very confident, happy and energized in my body."

"I started my shoot outside and had a lot of fun getting a bit dirty and trying to avoid being seen through my neighbour's windows (although my voyeuristic tendencies secretly hoped they would see)! The feeling of dirt in my toes and the smell of wet grass was intoxicating. I then explored my house. The next morning I woke up and did some exercise and took a few extra shots. I felt empowered and energetic and enjoyed a warm shower afterwards."

"I did my shoot in the woods and at home. Of the two, I loved the outdoor photos best. Being naked in nature and risking getting caught was fun and exciting. I want to try naked mountain tourism someday too! When I sunbathe without clothes, I feel open and comfortable and I wish that nudity was considered "normal" and that we weren't so restricted with rules and things that are considered taboo. Doing this shoot was very fun and freeing and I hope to do more like it in the future."

"I did my shoot in my apartment. It was a very freeing and fun way to embrace my body. I have always enjoyed walking around being nude in my home whenever I get the chance, but this shoot really allowed me to get comfortable with my body. I always try to acknowledge the fact that my figure tends to fall in to the "ideal body" category for many people, and while I do have a pretty good relationship with my body, even I have my insecurities. This shoot allowed me focus on these insecurities in a positive way and fall in love with them."

"I shot these pictures in my own place and at my best friend's house over the course of a few very brisk winter days. Doing the shoot really made me sit in my body, I posed and changed angles and saw all my flaws and my beauty. "Perfectly imperfect" sums up how I feel about my folio, and by extension - my body and self. Not striving for an unattainable perfection and releasing something beautiful into the world just as it is feels incredibly liberating."

"I shot mostly in my zen-room and partly in my bedroom and in my garden. The unexpected for me about taking photos of myself was that I started to have a lot fun and see my body from different perspectives and thought multiple times how beautiful and pure I actually am. I felt exhausted but so beautiful and grateful for my body afterwards. It is such a beautiful way to be creative and to try new things. It's definitely a challenge but absolutely worth spending your time and loving your body."

"I was feeling cute and sexy so I decided to take lots of pictures of myself naked! They turned out so beautiful I didn't want them to just sit on my phone, I want the world to see them! I've recently discovered that I have a fetish for strangers looking at me naked and appreciating them, it makes me feel so happy and horny! Knowing that you lust for me and that my body at its most beautiful stage of life will be on the internet forever makes me so excited!"

"I was so excited when Ishotmyself asked me to do another shoot! I love shooting outdoors, I think the idea somebody might come is a real turn on for me. The sun feels soooo good on my naked body that sometimes I just take off my clothes and go for a walk through the field. In the future I'm going to take more photos because I love to look at them when I get home."

"Honestly it was a crazy experience for me. I took the bicycle to get here. I chose the hottest hours for this shooting. There were a lot of cars on the road near the forest but I really enjoyed laying on the grass naked, under the craziest sun. I touched my body with the different plants, and pushed my body towards the hot trees. I felt as if somebody was spying on me, and it made me a little bit horny! I really love being looked at. I touched my body, let the cold water slide over my skin, and sat on the hot bicycle. It was an amazing day!"

"Rainy days make me quite sad. I struggle with anxiety, depression and other mental health issues and sometimes it's hard for me to get out of my home. So, I took my pics on my little balcony! I thought it could be a good reason to breathe some new air and to do something motivating. I'm not always fine with my body and face, sometimes I feel really unattractive and ISM reminds me every body is beautiful. After doing the shoot, I felt more empowered. I remembered it's okay not to be okay!"

"I shot myself in both my small apartment and my boyfriend's city studio. The juxtaposition of both environments allowed me to explore the unique lighting that each place offered, one that cascaded off skyscrapers and the other that slowly crept in through Venetian blinds. I remember having so much fun that I was attempting to do a yoga position, and as I take the shot I fall and graze my knee on the floorboards."

Here's another lost shoot from 2008 we found recently that we decided to release as a sweet little glimpse into the past, courtesy of Elna from Sweden. Golden hair and golden skin compliment this simple but effectively sexy folio. There's a casual charm to Elna that is undeniably appealing, and her ever so slightly shy smile and piercing blue eyes make it difficult to not fall in love with this stunning Swede.

"I never thought I was much of an exhibitionist until recently I was reflecting on how a lot of my early sexual fantasies revolved around the idea of dressing sexy and being seen like that. I am coming to realise just how much I love nudity. With this shoot I took a lot of the photos in public places which definitely plays into the excitement of getting caught. Like John Waters said, 'I thank God I was raised Catholic, so sex will always be dirty'."
