"I entitled this folio My_Monologue because it\'s about discovering myself. The book vagina monologues and the ISM site inspired me to do this. Like the thousands of women represented by the book, I was also sexually molested when I was a kid. It\'s hard to admit and accept but, that part of my life affected me a lot on how low I thought of myself. Doing the shoot made me feel like I\'m getting to know myself all over again. I began to appreciate my body more and see myself in a different way. I felt in control of who I am. I\'m not saying I\'m completely healed from my past scars but this experience is a definite step forward for me...and of course I had a lot of fun!:)" Marianna.
