rarity//"stark_naked"
‘Rarity’ is right – you don’t see a lot of contributors from the American Midwest, and of course we welcome you to draw your own conclusions about that. The starkness of mood in this set seems to have geographical origins – it may be ISM’s version of driving right down the middle of the ‘heartland’.

cari//"swelter"
This set was steamy enough to get condensation on the lens, and we’re sure you can see why – this lady would make any environment tropical. Remember to drink plenty of water and don’t exert yourself too much when perusing this set.

hera//"shiftingsand"
Hera contends that real beauty isn’t what you see in the magazines – so it must just be coincidence that quite a few of the images she’s created here would look pretty nice on the glossy page. The wind in her hair and the sand in her toes is picture-perfect pleasure.

froggy//"up_here"
This girl is not to be contained. She may start with a few modest close-to-the ground shots, but then she’s up up and away, scaling great heights just to be able to say that she’s stood nude above all creation, holding her camera aloft, untouchable to those groundlings who would try to bring her back down.

loella//"vibrant"
Loella makes magic with the colours in this set, experimenting with contrast and reflection. It’s a lush little group of images which takes full advantage of the surrounding life, which Loella seems to make more vibrant with her every move.

pollyanna//"intothesun"
I’ll bet there are a few of you out there who jumped for joy when you saw Pollyanna’s name come back into the rotation at the top of your screens. It’s been a long time coming, but good things come to those who wait.

remedios//"revelling"
Remedios is passionate about hedonism, which caused me to expect a very different folio from what’s presented here – I could just see the velveteen couch and the 80% dark chocolate melting on her lips. So when I saw what really felt good to her, it made me think twice about what ‘hedonism’ really means.

misha_l//"Kartenspiel" Video
I'm pretty sure she's using ordinary playing cards to demonstrate a radical new structural engineering theorem she's been developing for high-rise structures built on fault lines. It hinges around the dispersal of load through a series of fulcrums and planar surfaces, and just won her a nobel prize in engineering. Well my German is a little rusty but I'm pretty sure that's it.

teah//"pour_moi"
There are loads of reasons to get naked on the internet, but we have to say that one of the ones we hear the most is: ‘I did this for me’. Teah is of such a sentiment, and we hope she’s out there at a screen somewhere admiring herself for a job well done.

odalys//"sunblessed"
Odalys is absolutely radiant, and that glow from within is matched by the glow she’s chosen to bathe in for her ‘initiation’ to ISM. She really has a grasp on the meaning of ‘abundance’, and when you know you’ve got it, you share it. And share she does.

edan//"ivy"
There are a number of ways a Project ISM participant can use her body. Edan chooses to use hers as a canvas today, creating a green scene that is convincing enough to attract butterflies!

lietha//"splashback"
We like Lietha’s approach to ISM. For her it’s not an event; it’s just a casual, snap-here snap-there sort of thing. Which, if you think about it, is perhaps the best way to show exactly who you are, as you are, every day.

darkling//"hi_mum"
September’s Art Prize winner is back today with some more of the incredible compositions and sultry stares which made her an ISM Hero in the first place. This girl can do everything – bunny homicide, body art, bush exploration – and still makes time to say hi to mum.

elvira//"luminance"
This professional go-kart racer (!!!) shows us her creative side today, which has a particularly girlie bent. I wonder if her competitive go-kart jumpsuit has gold sequins as well….

ellis//"MessingAbout"
Folios don't have to be remarkably artistic, provocative or clever to be appreciated on ISM, as Ellis demonstrates with a collection of pictures taken in and around her house - what I really dig about this folio is the look in her eyes, the way she engages the camera, and therefore us.
