You may have avoided it when you were younger so as to protect yourself from the embarrassment of falling off, but now you’ve got nothing to lose, especially if your monkeybars are as abandoned as these ones are. This playful debut makes the back of our knees ache from the friction of hours spent swaying upside-down.

The kids these days have so many styles to choose from, and this 80s-trash-glam-with-a-touch-of-roaring-20s kit is a fine example of how postmodernity has made us more fashionable than we’ve ever been. Dreamy Del plays dressups to dress right down to her very flesh.

Cinny_D returns to ISM with a little more of that golden glow she shared with us last year. She seems to have a firm grasp on how to make that natural glow brighter and brighter until we start to fear that she may combust – so much warm energy spills from her that we’re all feeling the heat.

Miss_Toys puts on her spaceboots and transports us to the world of tiny plastic spacemen who know the real way forward – universal interlocking systems of great structural integrity. When it all goes to hell, Miss_Toys will be laughing from her Lego bunker at all of you fools who failed to prepare.

Yes, she most certainly is. Ayla is a total fox who isn’t afraid to act a bit silly and doesn’t take herself too seriously, and her big cheeky grin is more contagious than a yawn in a waiting room. Such a generous spirit is bound to find itself led to ISM eventually, and we’re glad she’s finally made it.

Alissa celebrates the simple pleasure of crisp, clean white sheets left to dry in the sunshine, and what she’s created certainly delivers that feeling to her viewer. And oh, what she gets away with in the privacy of her makeshift tent!

Madeline practises restraint. The evidence is all here, but not in the most obvious indicators – no, no, look closer. At the careful compositions, the perfectly-executed controlled release of self and sex, the movement of a body known intensely by its owner, the precise occupation of this contained space.

ISM video is a bit of a lucky dip sometimes, both for its creators and its consumers. You never know when you might reach in and get a spontaneous musical performance that rivals the last good gig you went to, and when it comes round, you feel like the luckiest dipper there is.

"I was originally going to shoot at the skate park down the road from my house, but every time I checked it out it was overrun by schoolchildren or skaters. I didn't want to get caught out in the skate bowl, so I decided to do it in my new room as I'd moved the day before. While I was dyeing my hair and wandering around naked I went outside and had a cigarette and decided to take some of the photos in the backyard. It was the first time I'd been home alone and able to just wander around naked outside so I took advantage of the freedom and got creative with the camera. It felt so great to stand out in the open air in my backyard, it's got no trees and is surrounded by two-story houses so I was out there for the world to see, it was funny and liberating. The wind was blowing my hair around but I didn't feel cold, even in the Melbourne air! Then I went inside, and decided to take some photos with my lace curtains. I really enjoyed the shoot, I picked a flower from outside and scattered the petals across my body and around me. The battery died as I decided I was taking the last photo."

Lea’s rock goddess incarnation has made an appearance here before, and if you happened to be hanging out on BBC news or some other time-wasting website when she did, make haste to Lea’s collected ISM works to see and hear some of the sweetest crooning there ever was. Today her ‘studio’ is not just for making music – it’s for makin’ pictures too.

You know her type – the adventure-sports girl who’s always on one excursion or another, never afraid to take up any physical challenge, always on the run in one way or another. Today she captures the beach’s most perfect hour, where the sky and the sea are all mercury and fairy floss, the hour that you only know about if you’re outside as much as she is.

Ailith lives in a gilded world – and it seems that most of it is created by her alchemic energy. She clearly carries with her a joy that is ever-present and far-reaching, and she has captured some moments of pure rapture in her follow-up exhibition on ISM.

Danzig says that her boyfriend really digs her set, and there are a whole buncha folks about to join his team on that. This, though, serves as a reminder of all of the boyfriends who have been digging on their ISM girlfriends for years, supporting their work and their desire to share it – this is the definition of a ‘liberated man’. Thanks, boyfriends – we love you.

The winner of last month’s Art Prize, as it turns out, is a real person – and after she had produced such a superhuman set, we have to admit that we were a little suspicious that she might be a bit cyborg. But here we have video footage as proof that she is a real, live, person, doing real human things – like sleeping.

Apples has managed to come up with an entirely original venue for her shoot, as if you needed a cathedral to worship a Godess like this one! Get out your hymn books and sing her praises - then down on your knees, boys and girls, and give thanks for the divine seraphim they forgot to tell you about in sunday school.
