Lia falls on and off our radar from time to time, and it seems that she’s got some sort of re-invention of self every time she comes back on. This is a stark contrast from her only ISM folio to date – even we had to look twice to recognise her – but it’s done with the dense, dark thoughtfulness that is her signature.

There’s more than a touch of ‘Stage door’ in Naledi’s bathroom safari. With an eye for the pose, the ISM South African beauty brings a sparkle to the doss-house bathroom fixtures with which she poses.

When shooting oneself, the general rule is that there’s nowhere to go but up. It’s like any sort of artistic practice – you learn by doing and you do better each time. Nerea is a case-in-point, and while of course we don’t wish to diminish her first contribution, we do think that this is a pretty amazing follow-up.

We didn’t laugh until we fell in love.
