This most certainly is an opus. Zel goes far afield into the dreamworld in this set, channelling Ophelia and allowing the sun to usher her through the underbrush. There are worlds above and below the flowerline, and she occupies each in turn with her body and her voice.

Why waste money on a canvas when you can just paint your friends? The art of Darkling and Solchi is so underground that they can’t even step foot in an art shop, and must make do with homemade paints derived from native roots – and no brushes allowed. Which allows for a friendly grope or two.

Mattoid’s alias is a double-entendre for; intoxicating the body with pleasure or having a mind bordering on insanity or worse. The two meanings need not be so far removed. In fact they meld quite nicely into this folio of Mattoids. Ending up in a nice part of the pleasure-meets-sculptor spectrum.
