A slightly modified version of August's Art Prize winner shares a very special part of her life with us in this video series: her home. That's something that not all contributors share with us, perhaps because it's so very personal, so it's extra special when we get to peek inside that world. And there is really nothing more beautiful in the whole world than an Oren with a little baby inside her.

This absolutely ethereal set from Denny satisfies us on so many levels and definitely deserves some meditative attention. There’s enough here to keep your aesthetic mind churning for days. The subtle contrasts of colour and the never-ending length of her frame are fascinating to look at, provoking an erotic curiosity in us all.

Sirina has chosen a pretty down-to-earth (as close to the lowest part of the earth that as she can get without scuba gear) approach to ISM, and it’s nice to have that extreme earthiness in amongst some of the more high-femme productions we receive from time to time. This lady is not at all afraid to get very personal with her surroundings.

This folio is as gentle as the soul that brought it to life. Lady_Tibet looks positively saintly, and we have to wonder if she’s got anything bad on her record at all. I’m often suspicious of folks like that, but I think she is purely the real deal.

Despite the icy blue and white tones of Snowflake’s foray into nude self-portraiture, there is still a warmth to these images that cuts right through the chill. Perhaps it’s a result of the honesty with which she portrays herself, simply and without posturing.

Ziv’s true colours could be used in batik dyeing, they’re so deep and concentrated. Each image in this set is a breath of life, which is probably the case with everything she creates. An excellent piece of work to get yourself animated if you find yourself feeling a little drone-y.

D.I.Y. haircuts don’t always go well, but when you’ve got high standards for your hairs as Gladys does, everything actually goes quite, er, smoothly - in more ways than one. She always looks like she’s having a blast in her folios, which is just one of the things that makes them stand out.

Lynsey takes it outside for her third ISM contribution and I for one have been waiting for months to see her out in the sunshine. She looks stunning as ever in the pink and golden tones of this folio, and that extra kiss of sunlight on her skin goes miles to further reveal her crushworthiness.

It’s probably pretty obvious that Ava P is very into animals. So much so that she’ll let them claw her up and she won’t even get angry. But I suppose that comes with the territory when you let a lizard roam all over your nude body. Somehow I’m not sure the craze will take off, but it looks good on her anyway.

Jasmin B’s images remind us of kittens rolling around on the carpet. You know how they do it – they stretch themselves out, claw at its texture, roll from back to front to back again. One of the simplest but most joyous sights in the world.

Liverpool fans are not going to like this one. Oh, who are we kidding, you’d be an idiot to let a silly old rivalry get in the way of your enjoyment of yet another spunky set from Jelena. She may just be the lady who brings the whole thing to a peaceful conclusion, and the staff of Lime Street Station will thank her.

Does anyone remember that video they used to show on Sesame Street of crayons being made?. It’s an exquisite visual: liquid colour pouring into a mold, and out comes a solid chunk of creative potential. We have a feeling that Reva was manufactured in quite a similar fashion.

Doesn’t matter what it is – McBean is the man for the job. Though now that she’s taken off her moustache she might be ok with us calling her ‘lady’. She’s got all the tools of the trade, and she’ll fix whatever’s giving you trouble. And by that we mean she’ll eat an apple and take lots of self-portraits.

Any investigation of art, the body, or sexuality should necessarily be looking at the in-betweens; the little incidental moments between the big events, the tiny details that get lost among the overstated realm of the visble. Petal has captured precisely this, bringing us close to her by letting us in between.

ISM is an excellent place to find girltalk when you don’t have access to it in your regular everyday life. For Alexia LaRo there’s always a story to tell, because there’s never a time when she’s not writing them with her actions and adventures. We’re sure she’ll have plenty more next time.
