New Releases

Aug 24, 2009 tabia//"colourwheel"
When someone shows us her nude body, we think we’ve seen it all – how much more is there to uncover when all is bared? Tabia shows that a second look is much more revelatory than you might expect, using bold, bright colours and filtered light to show us how luscious she really is. It’s almost like seeing another person altogether.
Aug 23, 2009 lita//"cherrypicker"
Lita’s heart-shaped face, flaming hair, and devious smile remind us that, if we’re really honest with ourselves, life is a bowl of cherries. Overwhelmingly sweet, sometimes a little tart, and of course there are always pits to be avoided – but the overall experience is absolute bliss.
Tinkerchell and Charlie D pay homage to that amazing feeling of wet bodies intertwined, something we all jump at any chance to partake in. They take a playful approach with a sexy edge, which just about encapsulates everything good about the activity.
With fare like garlic bread and tofu, of course Voltron has never really posed a threat to the freezer’s contents. But a giant KitKat might be a different story. Let’s just hope that he doesn’t get the munchies - I reckon that would get him sacked for sure.
Aug 22, 2009 Mea_x//"high_life"
A domestic space says a lot about a person, and with the crisp, clean lines, minimalist orderliness, and bright whites of Mea X’s room, we get a sense of her as a woman who likes the power of controlled environments and the sleek, linear smoothness of modern design.
Do you remember all of the artwork Illenya showed you in her ‘nakedvision’ video? This might give you a little insight into the creative process behind it. I imagine her working late into the night, sage burning, trance music filling the room, candles casting just enough light for her to work by.
Your next Rorschach test is probably going to reveal an obsession with Inkblot. Your psychiatrist won’t understand, but she never understood you anyway – that’s why she hasn’t changed your life yet. But we understand the fixation, cos we’ve got the same problem. ‘Inkblot. Inkblot. Pony – no, Inkblot.’
Every Lady Lou set is a carnival unto itself, and this time, she’s sent in the clowns. Her obsession with costumes and role-playing has become the defining theme of her artwork here, and we’d give anything to get into her dress-ups trunk.
Aug 20, 2009 lucy_v//"felicity"
She howled at the door until we let her in. She seemed sweet enough at first, but then she started making demands. She takes only full cream, requires new linens each night, and she is not a lap cat. She also demands other frisky kittens to play with, so we figured ISM was the only place to keep her. Damned strays.
This is the first opportunity we’ve had to see Perpetua in the casual context of her own space, and it’s always a treat to get a closer look at the lifestyles of these mini-celebrities of ISM. Rich and famous, perhaps not, but this is way more exciting than a Robin Leach program.
The Princess of Psychedelica invites us into her palace of illusion, where she is constantly investigating the strange world of pseudoscience under the influence of the psychonauts who came before her. In this series of wild, weird stuff, she attempts to distract you from her naked state with the tricks she’s got under her (missing) belt.
Cast her in bronze, cast her in silver, whatever else you do today; cast your eye upon Miss_Lee and her latest offering. She’s bestows upon her images the utmost class and finesse - still frames from a life unfurling within a whirlpool of grace.
Aug 19, 2009 isadora//"outburst"
Try as the world might to put her in a box, Isadora is eternally un-containable. And she’s rather loud and proud about it. This girl is powerfully in control of where she’s taking her life, and should you fail to hop on her fast-moving vehicle that’ll take here there, she’s got no qualms with leaving you in the dust.
Aug 18, 2009 shamboo//"androgene"
The Godfather of Soul had some interesting ideas about this ‘man’s world’, but Shamboo shows us that it ain’t so cut-and-dry. I wonder what Father James would have to say about her boundary-steppin’ activities here. Perhaps he has a little more in common with Shamboo than he might think.
Aug 18, 2009 goat girl//"shapely"
Goatgirl is pulling more shapes than Grace Jones in her debut, making good use of her yoga skills, which come in handy when you want to show it all to the camera you’re anchored to. That’s about all she’s anchored to in this set, and it seems, life in general.
