New Releases

Mar 22, 2010 fifi_p//"lucky_dip"
When your rental doesn't come with a pool and you wouldn't be caught dead at that terrible gawking ground that is the community aquatic centre, you've got to be inventive. Fifi_P is the only patron at her backyard water hole, which means she never has to share the pool toys. Smart girl.
Mar 22, 2010 reika//"menace"
Reika has been working on her bad girl image, and is ready to test it here. What do you think? Do consider the damage those heels could do to someone (un)fortunate enough to fall underneath them before you go feeling unthreatened.
Not sure how these two managed to get sand there, but you can certainly imagine the contortions which might have occurred. It takes a certain level of comfort to let a friend photograph you so, um, intimately, but these ladies have been at various levels of mischief for years.

Mar 21, 2010 zilly//"blushed"
This is a 'wow' folio, one that combines its various elements so seamlessly as to leave its viewer awestruck. Zilly is luxuriously pink and plush in and of herself, but she brings a few shapeshiftings and textural juxtapositions into the scene that emphasize that blush to the nth degree. It'll put a rosy filter on pretty much everything that passes your line of sight.
Mar 20, 2010 susanna//"greenbelt"
While Susanna can handle a bit of city bustle, she generally can't wait to get back out of the grid and feast her tired eyes upon something a little less geometrically predictable. She shares a small corner of this land to which she's so tied, and even that is enough to understand why she'll always be a greenbelt girl.
Mar 20, 2010 meercat//"afire"
When you're so ginger you're practically fluorescent, you're bound to turn a few heads, and that's when you're still wearing clothes. Meercat certainly had a few people swooning upon her debut, and if you were one of them you'll be glad to see a bit more of that sweet but edgy goodness she contains.
Mar 19, 2010 effy//"creepycrawly"
There's not much Effy could have done to not burst brightly onto the ISM scene - even the most subdued set would have rendered her the cutest thing we'd seen in awhile, so we're glad she decided to just be herself and let her lightheartedness shine for her first set.
It's a rare but provocative thing to hear a woman describe herself as 'succulent', and as soon as we made the association, we viewed Lilbrownbird's debut in a whole different light. Every curve and flush of her flesh is a thing of savorable viscerality.
Mar 18, 2010 kara_d//"flores"
50 years down the track and she hasn't changed a bit - ISM's 'heirloom' is back in a more here-and-now sort of form, catching a few rays in just the right ways - see 057 for that perfect confluence of light, body, and lens. Nice to see that she's aged so well, eh?
We feel whipped right into shape by this deft display of familiarity with colour, light, and movement. The alignment of sexuality with creation that appears to inform Violet_Lash's work gives form to some of the most painfully erotic stuff we've seen - love and fury bathed in an amber glow.
While 'gee, it's hot in here' is often just an excuse, Janise is actually being quite literal - if you've ever experienced an Australian 40-degree day, you'll understand where's she's coming from. And probably think she's nuts for coming out of the aircon.
Annabel expresses so very much in her images, and for someone who didn't 'get' the spirit of ISM right from the get-go, she sure has become an exemplary contributor. Here she reveals a little more of her geeky side, but in a way that maintains that completely unpostured sexiness we've come to associate with her work.
Mar 17, 2010 skram//"the_glitz"
Every woman deserves the opportunity to contextualise herself, and Skram seems to take any chance she can get. This is an exploration of her identity in a context she writes herself, and we hope she looks back with attention to what she chose to emphasize.
Far enough away from the city's roar to get a moment's peace, Roxy_heart and her kickin high-tops get back to nature in more ways than one. It's a bit fresh out there - a stark contrast to her cozy first set - but she can grin and bear it better than most.
