There is a visible level of confidence and strength with which Ziba holds her body throughout this folio. And with a body as chiseled as hers, she’s got good reason to stand tall. She strikes a delicate balance between her various femininities, one that we suspect took practice to maintain.

Gold glitter on bronze skin – this lady is an alchemist of the first order. If it isn’t clear from the first segment of her folio, watch how she turns a grey sky into golden sunshine with a mere flick of her umbrella. We suspect she’s got a little bit of the divine flowing through her veins.

Karah has more geeky getups than you can brandish your dagger at, and today she plays the mighty but gentle Enchantress of the Forest. You know the sort, wears nothing but a cape, climbs trees with no undies on, teases tresspassers and then chases them away before they get close enough to touch. Oh, if only the woods next to my place had one of her sort…

Supernova can’t seem to get away from the ruddy hues in her debut. Whether she’s making them herself or adding them into her surrounds, there is a rush of redness in each photo, creating a certain heat that her viewer can actually feel.

This looks to be the most complete dissertation on chocolate that can be found in the entire ISM archive. And there's a fair bit of chocoplay around here, for reasons that should be obvious. Sukie clearly knows what she's talking about, so be careful next time you go courting her with a box of chocolates - she's not going to be impressed by anything but couverture.

It’s probably safe to say that most people feel at least a little bit funny about being photographed by another person – there’s something about interacting with so many different eyes that can be more than intimidating. Adelaide responded to this the best way she knew how, and she looks quite pleased to be interacting only with herself.

After her rather grand and sparkly debut, Orson takes the drama down a notch, but there’s still that intensity in her gaze that makes it hard to spend less than a full minute staring back at it. It’s as though her beauty and her fierceness are constantly neck-and-neck as her defining characteristic.

I wonder how many ISM artists are truly, like lilbrownfox, exploring nude self-portraiture for the very first time. In the digital age there’s pretty much nothing stopping you from indulging in a little bit of photographic narcissism, and you can even destroy the evidence! It’s cool to see a first-time experiment, and we think this one went particularly well.
