In Jox’s locale, you really can go from rain to shine and back again (ten or twelve times) in a day, and on the particular day she donned her camera and her moxy, that is just what came and went. But like any seasoned Melbournite, she just smiles on through it, knowing that it’s not forever. In fact, it’s probably only for the next few minutes.

The ones she’s visited over the years have quite a range of aesthetic qualities and levels of cleanliness, but she shies away from none.

Sukie is a pretty fantastic teacher when she's passionate about her subject. Every teacher has that recurring nightmare in which they are caught without pants on in front of their students, but she's taken that nightmare and turned it into her dream - one that's very easily realised.

There is a visible level of confidence and strength with which Ziba holds her body throughout this folio. And with a body as chiseled as hers, she’s got good reason to stand tall. She strikes a delicate balance between her various femininities, one that we suspect took practice to maintain.

Gold glitter on bronze skin – this lady is an alchemist of the first order. If it isn’t clear from the first segment of her folio, watch how she turns a grey sky into golden sunshine with a mere flick of her umbrella. We suspect she’s got a little bit of the divine flowing through her veins.

Karah has more geeky getups than you can brandish your dagger at, and today she plays the mighty but gentle Enchantress of the Forest. You know the sort, wears nothing but a cape, climbs trees with no undies on, teases tresspassers and then chases them away before they get close enough to touch. Oh, if only the woods next to my place had one of her sort…

Supernova can’t seem to get away from the ruddy hues in her debut. Whether she’s making them herself or adding them into her surrounds, there is a rush of redness in each photo, creating a certain heat that her viewer can actually feel.
