Today, a slice of Yomi no Kuni from ISM's resident obsidian angel Dokurochan. We’re seeing a more relaxed aspect here but her sombre lair and even that much admired ink job just get lost in the dark eclipse of those striking eyes.

Amongst the dirt and the flowers we find Xanthe - the quintessential girl next door with her casual denim, cute smile and wonderfully freckled skin. While we here at ISM don't generally condone peeping toms or the like, one could hardly be blamed for taking a sneaky peek over the fence when this little filly is around.

'Abandoned' is a favourite aesthetic theme of many of our Artists, and surely it's due at least in part to the subject matter of our Project. Empty spaces, the left-behind, give a naked self-portraitist a sense of calm in her surrounds, and that's invaluable for the creative process.
