It looks like Hellfire shares, in part, our obsession with various states of undress. A single article of clothing paused somewhere between being taken off or pulled on, is so suggestive of motion that our imaginations tend to take still images like these and animate them. Who needs video?

Coming across photos of Applerose is one of those simple things in life that just makes us feel good. Her smile promises permanence, so that even when she's being a bit serious it is somehow present in her image. Or maybe she just likes shooting herself so much, she can't help but show it - either way, an Applerose day is a good day.

Red and black, those endlessly stimulating colors we associate with such passionate things as gothic intimate apparel, baroque candlelit dinners and luxurious midnight encounters, seem to be suited perfectly to Vivianne. Complementing the existing play of color between her hair and her lips, there is something so wonderfully adult about such a dramatic palette.

Mollymay is a girl to whom the sensualities and textures of life are obviously important. Between her words and her photos, we are transported to a world of sunlit dust motes, care-worn leather, unselfconscious charm and all the long lazy hours we could possibly want to contemplate them.

As soon as we start our own sustainable veggie patch here at ISM HQ, we cordially invite Snap Pea to be our resident girl gardener. If you're lucky, you might even get to stop by for a little lesson about vegetable Eco-culture - as long as you agree to munch on some greens first.

Being allowed to watch Roe and Frei intertwine and connect with each other is a privilege, and as I flip through their photos I feel grateful for it. The depth of their affection for each other comes through so clearly that by the end of the set, I feel as if my own concept of friendship has been altered.

Oh Mia_K! Your general fabulousness and fondness for the color pink make us want to throw a multi-colored, Mia-sexual pride parade in your honor. When your image alone is enough to drive imaginations wild, you're well on your way to leading a movement - and in Mia_K's case, we think it's going to be a very fun one, probably with a lot of dancing.

If Ann P were a mood ring, her disposition would read, 'enthusiastic'. If she were a vegetable, we would imagine her as a bright orange carrot - and something tells me she would too. It's not hard to guess Ann P's favorite color, and all the associations we can find for the color orange seem to fit her to a T.

Having London back is like taking a wonderfully familiar holiday in the country. Every inch of her just reminds us of the natural simplicity of life - when we're in London's world, a little bit of sunshine and a few flower petals are more than enough beauty to recolor our entire worldview.

It's not easy to photograph water - constant running and swirling around can really mess with one's attempt to keep everything in focus. But if anyone could do it, it's Lydia L, a girl with enough energy herself to understand things which are constantly in motion. She just flows right along with the stream, letting her vision take her where it will.

Oh Immie, as if we could ever forget you. After three still folios, each one prettier than the last, you can imagine our delight when Immie brought us this bad-ass bike vid. If bicycle workshops are anything like what Immie's got going on in her backyard, we'll hang up our ISM hats, break out the helmets, and run for our nearest co-op faster than it takes to say BMX.

Upon receiving Hana's photos, we almost immediately began scanning them eagerly for a hint of her ear to confirm our first impressions - that she surely is some sort of magical creature, most likely either elf or leprechaun. When we realised that she keeps those pretty ears almost completely hidden throughout the shoot, our suspicious rose even further - but we'll let you draw your own conclusions.

Jolana has extended such a gracious invite through these photos, allowing us not only a peek at her favorite toys and books, but a tour of her life, her space, and her habits. Just so you know, Jolana, we'd welcome you on a tour of our space anytime - as long as you bring that sexy hobby-unicorn along with you.

We have nothing but admiration for Tura's politics and the way she chooses to make herself heard. If we had our way all activism would be performed naked and in their faces, and if that makes the status quo a little queasy or uncomfortable, all the better.

Gina_Cherie never ever fails to burst out of her own photographs, portraying herself with a kind of shocking, super-hot realism we've come to anticipate with every folio. We can't help but be titillated by the visual metaphor of the balloons she engages with here, ensuring that this time, Gina_Cherie pops in more ways than one.
