toko//"jitterbug"
"I had fun and felt very in touch with myself during the shoot, but I got bitten by an ant on my butt half way through! Maybe the bite is even visible in a few photos, actually there were lots of insects."

ghost//"residual_2" Video
If you were to combine Antonioni's sense of intentional pacing, with the willful, bracingly defiant attitude of Frida Kahlo, and then casually mix in a bit of BLU, that Italian street artist, you might stumble onto something comparable to Ghost's existence. We only catch a glimpse in these few moments, but it's enough to keep us wondering for quite awhile.

tigerlilly//"band_camper"
"I work at a music store and one day while I was working I was trying to think of a theme for a shoot. That day a customer asked me what instrument I played, and I told him primarily, I play the flute. He asked me if the rumors about band camp were true and I told him - pretty much!"

wolf//"numinous"
Wolf, there's something supernatural about you. When I open up your folios a hush comes over the place, a door slams shut without warning and it's just me and you and your intense eye-contact, wilted petals falling as you adjust your cream stockings. This is the best kind of spooky.

lanie//"wet_tiles"
"I do, however, like to take the occasional hot shower fully clothed - cheap thrills - you're not supposed to do it I guess. It's part of the fun of having sex with women too - cause you're not really supposed to."

nel//"unfurling"
Ferns are one of those plants that don't boast any flowers, so the luckiest ones have exquisite women like Nel to complement them instead. The curling, layered shadows blend so perfectly with her creamy skin that we're not sure which came first - Nel's attraction to the fern, or the fern's love for Nel.

"So much fun! ISM gives you the creativity to do whatever you want, you don't have to follow someone else's ideas. It was even more fun for me, I'm so used to working with photographers and this was great, to do my own thing."

ava_rose//"chatelaine"
"I liked shooting myself, I liked being in control. I was completely comfortable, I didn't feel nervous. I loved where I shot, it was so pretty and... 'me'. I knew I would be okay. I have always felt good being naked."

ghost//"residual" Video
Ghost doesn't have to speak to make herself understood. So many people struggle to explain their art and it seems that they are forgetting what Ghost knows very well - art is already communication. And she doesn't need to tell us twice.

emily_m//"arizona_snow"
No, not the Weetabix girl. We're talkin' about the real thing, snowfall in the Arizona dessert. Emily M looks warm and rosy, but the snow piled up on her patio has us shaking in our flip-flops - though to be fair, sympathy's not the only thing about Emily M that gives us the shivers.

tsuba//"bed2table"
Farm to table is such a stuck-up concept, don't you agree? All the cool kids are doing something new now, and way cuddlier. Give your food-producing animals the same kind of creature comforts you give to your cherished pets, because hey, eggs are good, but eggs raised in bed are even better.

tanya//"cotton_on"
We're big fans of Tanya's taste in underwear. There's something so down to earth about cotton and those tiny ornamental bows. Forget stereotypes - Tanya cares about her comfort, first. And since everyone knows sexy-without-trying is the best kind, Tanya wins that particular prize for today.

angelle//"graze"
"1st go, I was so nervous and wanted to hide. By my third session I felt really comfortable looking at my own naked body. I felt so sexy! I loved it by the end. I love my curves and my body shape and my skin. I realised these things about myself and it's really awesome."

urtica & noa//"organicism_2"
Maybe Urtica and Noa were germinated, rather than born, raised from tiny green seeds. I imagine them swaddled in moss and fed on sunlight until they grew strong and beautiful. The unreserved joy they take in each other is a rare thing, making Urtica and Noa exotic plants in their own right.
