"I grew the chilies in my garden last year and there were more than I could eat, so I froze them. When I got them out for my shoot they defrosted pretty quickly so they ended up kind of smushing and burning my skin."

So now we're amongst all her loosely held dandelion fluff, on a day when the golden hour seems to go on forever. It's no surprise that the sun wants to linger, when it's got Alexis V to shine on.

"I shot 3 times, always in the middle of crazy busy weeks. Full sunlight was tricky to shoot in; I got sunburnt on my butt. My housemate came home when I was shooting and she laughed at me, then went and made us cups of tea. There were a few pervy cats hanging about while I was shooting."

Once in awhile, while looking through these pictures, it occurs to us how gorgeous the environment is around Saoirse, and how very picturesque that shoreline looks behind Thor - but to be honest, it's really hard to pay attention to the scenery with these two anywhere near it. I mean - damn.

"Overall I had a really good time. Bit shy and nervous at the start, I felt a bit silly, but I felt good when shooting and I felt good when I'd actually finished. It was really exciting. I appreciated being given the opportunity to spend time with myself, it was nice to be a bit indulgent."

"When I was doing my shoot I had my friends knocking on the door and I was like, "Hold on I'm just taking my photos". It was heaps of fun moving around different places, heaps of fun and funny moments while I was shooting. I've told lots of my friends about it."
