"Shooting outside was cold and wet and awesome. It was an interesting experience; there were neighbours on the other side of the fence. I found the process of shooting quite sensual and felt really connected to the earth. Working out how to get different angles and photograph my body."

Duets at ISM are generally a binary thing, two people stripping for each other, pressing their bodies together to fit in frame. But occupying a tight space is not the only way to be intimate. When Perra Sucia said she hated the piano, we weren't expecting much from the ivory keys of her new toy - after all, if you don't love it, why would be well-practiced? It didn't take 2 notes before we were backpedaling like it was our job, that barrage of incredible sound setting the context for getting to know Perra Sucia, more than words ever could.

"I shot my folio over 2 days, I had to go indoors for the second part as the weather turned horrible. The part I shot outside I got a bit of a tan from. This shoot was more fun than my first, I felt way more confident and creative and could relax and enjoy myself more."

"You learn what you look like when you take photos of yourself, especially from unusual and different angles. I did find it a bit tough to start with, you cant see what you're photographing. My first attempt people kept interrupting me, my housemate's dad came over!! I had to hide."
