“We decided to do a cooking theme because it's fun and we love food. Brendon was really sweet when he was in charge of photographing us... I sometimes have a habit of going cross-eyed if cameras suddenly jump out at me, so he took it nice and slow, just the way I like it."

"I don't think my pictures are sexy. Guys can take their cock out anywhere but seeing vaginas up close is newer. I'm interested in what I figured out about myself. I love the bizarre things in life and how deep people can fall or self-destruct. People with weaknesses are really the strongest of people."

"I was walking down a street and I came across a huge building with broken windows and glass, hidden amongst some bushes. Since it was locked, it made me even more intrigued to see inside. I hunted around and found a little hole to squeeze through. It was dark and I was a little scared, but when I found out that I was alone, I felt confident, so I stripped down and started shooting myself!"

Hmm, Seren’s definitely onto something. She has this way of taking desires that we thought of as simple - building a house, for example - and making them seem totally superfluous. Our whole life plan just got undermined by a beautiful girl rearranging some sticks. Damn!

"Since the weather has been hellish, I retreated to my cramped dorm room at Uni, which is more like a cell. I wanted to brighten up my boring room so I thought some glitter and feathers should do the trick. I then had to sit through my psych classes for the rest of the day with glitter where it really should not be."

Things that are great: figs crushed against open mouths, heavy golden blankets, auburn hair, matching henna, the laughing vibrancy of those first seconds when you plunge into a cold river. Everything Elyza touches just glows with sensual joy, inspiring lists to remember for later.

"It was a nice feeling to be outside without clothes, using the camera and mirror to discover myself and see myself in a way that I had never experienced before. I was looking for some colours in my garden and I came across the tomatoes, which looked vibrant and beautiful so I wanted to include them in my shoot. It was such a wonderful day."

Tamla's facility with the lines that form the relationship between frame and body has the words "sacred geometry" going through our heads, getting louder with every photo we expand to examine. She is a marvel of shape and space, the curves of her body cut out and sectioned off to great visual effect.

Forget the gym, your morning run, your constant striving to be better. What are you really living for? For Seren, the answer is as simple as a cool breeze, and her own bare skin. Tomorrow morning, strip down and give her philosophy a try - just don’t forget to bring your camera.

“To put it simply, I liked undressing, little by little. I liked the progression, getting more and more sensual. I loved seeing the results too, I've never seen myself so beautiful, so sexy. I like new experiences - they help me progress with my life. Pushing my limits helps me see myself.”

Someone asked us today, “What type of women contribute to ISM?” And that made us laugh. Because that’s the beauty of ISM - from hot mamas like Shaggy, taking a moment for themselves amid the hustle, to artsy DIY chicks, all the way through to the staff at HQ, people who shoot for ISM aren’t a type. They’re an entire gender.

"My partner wanted to peek, but I tucked him away inside so that I could experience this for myself with no inhibitions. Looking back on my shoot, I think the pictures look naturalistic and nice, and something to be proud of. If I were to do it again, I'd love to experiment a bit more with props, now that I'm an old hand at it!"

"Danger! I was right near a jetty that was a main thoroughfare. It made the shoot so exciting; I could have been caught at any time. Sand gets into place where it shouldn't, as you can see in some of my pictures. The entire time I was shooting there was this beautiful black swan sitting on the ocean watching me."

Ophelia, without her heavy garments - would she ever have drowned amongst those nettles and long purples? Roe is the opposite of the hysterical woman - strong and capable, vulnerable without a sign of weakness. And the dark water falling from her lips is just wine... or is it?

"I started my pictures in my garden where I live, but then everyone started looking at me through the windows so I had to leave. I went to a pretty garden in a little park on a nearby street and tried to find a private place, but yes, there were some people walking past who saw me. J'ai commence mes photos dans mon jardin, mais tout le monde commencait a me regarder par la fenetre du coup j'ai du partir. J'ai trouve un joli petit jardin pas tres loin de chez moi mais certaines personnes qui passaiet pouvait me voir."
