Le lait... c'etait une sensation agreable mais aussi un moment amusant. c'etait une apres midi assez chaude et cela fesait du bien de sentir ce liquide frait sur mon corps."

"Highlights were trying really hard not to laugh out of enjoyment and the freedom I felt having the camera! It was freezing so I tried to clothe the parts of my body that I could get away with. Also, I thought I'd look better smiling through chattering teeth - when it's cold you smile bigger."

"Peach trees and sunflowers made a fine meal for the caterpillar and the two lovely ladies. By now, the three had spent so much time together it was hard to tell who was the human and who was the.... wait... butterfly? Jax and Artemesia hoped that the spring would last forever."

I shot my folio in my bedroom, at a converted old furniture warehouse, in the back yard among the wild plants and a little bit at the local record store. I took these photos in the wet heat of August in the Deep South. I was thinking about wanting a bit of my passion and desire to rub off on my viewer. While I was shooting my cats kept getting in the way and maybe in a frame or two. I was also attacked by mosquitoes!"

"I would definitely like to do this kind of thing again. It took me a while to get used to holding, pointing and shooting the camera without being able to see the camera display. Towards the end I started to be less picky and relaxed a lot more, taking as many photos as I could. I was really enjoying myself and didn’t want to stop!"

Trashy romance novels are a funny thing, aren't they - silly in theory, but when you're alone with the reading voice in your head, actually, kinda... kinda hot. Edith May does a great job of bridging that gap, equal parts solemn sensuality and happy, tongue-in-cheek acknowledgement. We're left feeling peacefully charmed, and a little turned on, too.

"I liked the double mirrors and wooden floors. I love polished wooden floorboards and the light in that room was lovely. It was all so fun - seeing the actual end product and finding new positions was the most enjoyable I think - it makes you love yourself a bit more! When I finished the shoot I fell asleep, it had been a big day!"

Does anyone else have the Lion King theme jump into their head when they think about Illenya? Just seeing her is enough to put us in a good mood, but the majestic, musical swell that accompanies the thought of her puts Illenya's folios in our top ten. We miss you Illenya - come round more often!

“When I've made this folio, I wanted to show how cute nudity could be. Well, porn and nudity are natural things for me and I find them really sweet: I'd love that everybody be OK with nudity, because it's a very important part of us. A very important part of me.”

"For this one, I got my friend to paint me which I'm sure he enjoyed! It was a shocking day, so why not brighten it up with some colourful paint? As you can guess, it was really messy, and definitely a bit of a challenge cleaning up the shower. I shot outside in an open garage so that I didn't get paint all over my house. To avoid my neighbour's prying eyes, I had to time it perfectly so that I was shooting when their blinds were drawn. I think I got away with it!"

"Waiting for the sun was like waiting for the dinosaurs to return, it was never going to happen... So, my solution was to don my super warm sheep skin coat and brave the cold outside. When it became unbearable, I retreated to my warm den, and kept snapping away. It was actually a lot harder than I thought it would be because I don't have long arms and it was hard to get lots of my body in. Thank god for my mirror, it made it so much easier!"

"I really enjoyed playing around with the light and creating a painterly, cinematic feel. I like that I got to talk to the camera and in a way it infuses a level of dynamism that isn't possible with pictures. Plus it was really important to read all that mills&boone because that's hilarious. I think it's funny because it's sexy but it's a little bit silly.."

If you've ever been to Melbourne, Australia, you'll recognize some very famous landmarks here - just how did Mariejohanna get naked in all those public places without getting caught? But this seems to be a post-apocalyptic Melbourne, after they detonated the nude bomb, so even the police are also naked, or dead. Here's what Mariejohanna said: "In every room in the museum there were security guards who looked like well educated elderly men - I had to become familiar with their routes around the gallery so that I didn't get caught - I did once, but I don't know if the guy was shocked or pleasantly surprised. I tried to get a photo with a portrait of Queen Victoria but the guy just stood there so that I couldn't!"

"J'ai aime etre a l'exterieur et prendre des positions sur les buches pour prendre des photos. Je me suis en securite parce que c'etait dans la campagne et pas grand monde pouvais me voir meme s'ils avaient essayes. Je me suis sentie libre et seule dans la nature. J'espere que ces photos peuvent aider a apprecier la beaute des formes feminines. Les ondulations des corps des femmes sont magnifiques. Je pouvais ecouter les oiseaux et voir la terre. J'ai fais attention aux piqures sur mon corps, et verifier si il n'y avait pas de serpents."
