"I had a really great time doing the shoot. I decided to do it in three different locations so I could try a few different things. I have to say that doing the shoot at the beach and in the garden was the most exciting, just being outside in the sun was fun and relaxing and felt warm on my skin. When I did the shoot in the bedroom, it was slightly more intimate but I loved it and love that I'll be sharing it with you soon!"

"In my garden, standing naked and slightly twisted around, my housemate comes out and stands staring as I calmly attempt to lift my leg over a lemon tree. "So..." she begins. I turn to her. "Yup. We're at that place in our friendship." The delicate scritch-scratch of a straw on the inside of my thigh, the soft scent of the flowers in the heat of the midday day... the day was alive around me, humming and glistening."

"Here is my beautiful self for you to enjoy as I see me. I hope you delight in the fun I had capturing my private amusement. This shoot happened to be the morning of Valentine's Day so I chose to use this opportunity to celebrate my love for me. By surprise, some roses were delivered part way through (true surprise) so they got to join in too! Enjoy!"

"My friend has this beautiful property out in the country, so I trekked about an hour or so out of Melbourne to get there. It was hot and there were lots of bugs, but the landscape was so gorgeous that it totally made it worthwhile. Climbing trees, "injuring" my foot and eating a well made sanga (see my video!) was just some of the highlights of the day."

"I literally shot myself, well at least I could have with the amount of awkward eye contact I encountered with innocent dog walkers. This has been one of the exhilarating/heart racing things I've ever done! With having no experience at all I dove straight in at the deep end, speaking of which, I did almost fall into a lake at one point!"

The truth is, although less ISM-obsessed women might, we actually never tire of hearing contributors talk about iShotMyself, and what this whole taking-pictures-of-your-own-naked-body thing means to them - in fact, the more we hear, the more we want to hear. Oreo's simple, considered statements today have us cupping our own faces and sighing, glancing at one another with happy smiles which say, "See? She gets it."

"J'ai choisit un chapeau indien pour rendre original mon shoot. C'etait sympa d'etre le model et de jouer avec la camera. J'ai utilise mon corps comme une toile avec la peinture. C'etait drole de se dessiner dessus et de voir les effets quand l'eau les modifies et de sentir les differentes sensations quand l'eau ruisselait. C'etait interessant de voir comment on peut jouer avec son corps pour creer differents projets artistics."

"Releasing the feminine goddess, nature, and adventure were the themes of my shoot. I wanted to explore my body through imagery surrounded by nature, in the dirty and beautiful scenery. I've always loved the outdoor bath in my backyard and wanted to take advantage of its position amongst nature. Having my housemate in the garden while I was shooting made it all the more devious."

"For my shoot I woke up at dawn and grabbed my trusty boots and my accordion and went to an abandoned lot behind my friend's house. For the first part of my shoot I was afraid of getting caught by an on-looker in this enormous lot, this made for a fun challenge and adrenaline rush! Later in the morning I retreated to her backyard and laid a sheepskin and a mirror in the tub and continued to play."

Back in the day, a surefire way to get us to do pretty much anything was to incentivize it with pizza, cokes, and the promise of a nice tv watching sesh when we finished our task. Raiye's pretty much hitting all the notes here, with the added bonus of our adult desire to see naked chicks thrown in - which makes us pretty much at her beck and call. Raiye's wish is our command.

"Freezing with my lover in the dunes was heaps of fun. We played around in the sand and dodged the people out walking their dogs, while making out under the trees. It was incredibly romantic - holding each other's shivering bodies and licking sea salt off the goosebumps." - Fauna

"I needed to catch the morning light which meant waking up earlier than I'm used to, so I lazily started taking photos of myself waking up and stretching. The more I played with angles and the different shapes my body made, the more inspired I became. And so, I followed the theme of waking up and getting ready for the day."

"Het was geen moeilijke beslissing om aan het project mee te doen; ik ben altijd in voor iets nieuws and spannends. Het was ietwat ongemakkelijk in het begin maar het liep uit op een creatieve dag. Ik vond het leuk om zowel buiten in de zon als in mijn huis, waar veel kunst is, te fotograferen. Zeker een leuke en bevrijdende dag."

"I've always got lots of colours on, I like to wear a lot of accessories. I buy all of my accessories - and my clothes too - from ebay. I'm obssessed by trying to find weird and wonderful things, anything different that no one else has. On the day of my shoot I had no plan - I just started off in my bedroom because I live with my family but I got bored and really wanted to take it outside. It was heaps of fun."
