For those of you not in the know, the Maori people are the indigenous folk of New Zealand, so Maori Miss comes to us with a rich cultural heritage to show off right along with that bangin' body. [i]Maori[/i] means natural, and Maori Miss is exactly that - gloriously natural and naked, relaxed and at peace. Maori Miss loves her body, her culture, and herself. How could we help but feel exactly the same?

Very cleverly done, Sheila. While she never actually gets completely naked, Sheila's new folio is so tantalizingly, deliciously erotic that it's left us lining up for cold showers. After we've cooled down a bit, we feel a little more objective - now we can appreciate her well-earned skills in the self-portraiture genre, reveling in the cool colors and elegant shapes her body makes in frame.

"Make the ISM Folio was fun even though I took a little cold ... I took these pictures one afternoon I went to a friend's field. I was all alone until another friend of my friend arrived! I ran to get something to cover my body. I spent a little embarrassed, but nothing happened fortunately..."

"I was trying to hide from joggers passing by - and there was one point where I heard a voice and I just went flat to the ground and froze! I'm not sure if he saw me or not. It's kind of funny now, looking back at it. What's not so funny was realising that I had been absolutely annihilated by mosquitoes."

"We shot this on a hill in the forest. You can see my village in some photos. This was the first time getting totally naked with each other, we were shy at first, but then we had a lot of fun. This was my first time naked in public too, I never thought I will do that, but I really enjoyed it. I really liked the experience and I'm exciting to do more!!" - Lary

"Ik heb deze set thuis in mijn slaapkamer gemaakt. Het was een druilerige zondag, en ik dacht voornamelijk aan lekker ontbijt. Het soort ontbijt waar je van geniet als je in een hotel bent. Ik kom uit Nederland, en ik hou van reizen.Dus combineer mij+reizen+ontbijt=ik die een heerlijk echt Engels ontbijt eet in een hotel in Londen.Ik voelde me kalm en ontspannen toen ik deze set maakte, omdat ik het leuk vind om mijn lichaam te laten zien op een natuurlijke manier."

Hyperballad's longstanding experience with Feck's websites means that all of the work she makes for the sites nowadays takes on depth and context, as she merges themes, and reflects back the lessons she's taken from the projects she herself helped to develop. We see ourselves, and our work, reflected in Hyperballad. Which is only part of what makes every one of her contributions extremely special to us.

"Zu begin habe ich mich nur innerhalb geschlossener Raeume fotographiert, um mich an meine eigene nackheit zu gewoehnen. Aber nach einer weile habe ich gemerkt, dass mir das gar nicht viel ausmacht. Ich bin einen Schritt weiter gegangen und habe mich in der Nacht in den Park getraut. Im Schutz der Dunkelheit mich selbst zu fotographieren, hat mich selbstbewusster fuer meine naechsten Schritt gemacht. Und wirklich es hat mir Spass gemacht, mich an oeffentlichen Plaetzen selbst su fotographieren und gleichzeitig darauf aufzupassen, dass mich keiner sieht."

"I shot in the backyard of a boy I am sleeping with. We woke up, made love, went back to sleep and then I woke up again and whispered in his ear (and told his housemate) that I'd be taking naked photos of myself in the backyard. There was a high fence so hopefully no neighbours saw. The sun was shining and they had a great couch. My lover slept through the whole thing but he checked the photos out later."

"I make the shot at my sister house. She was in a another town and I ask her to stay for 2 days. She didn't know the true reason. I know about this project from a friend. At first, I didn t know what to say... but I think better and I say: why not? Let's show my body to everybody. I want to show that you don't have to be very skinny or have big boobs, to feel good in your skin. I love myself and every girl should feel this."

Hyperballad's playful spirit has the effect of reminding all of us why it is we do this crazy thing called ISM. Those moments of peace and joy, with nothing between you and the world but your thin skin, are worth a thousand fully dressed. And if people want to arrest us for that, well, they can take us into the station - beaming, laughing, and naked as a bunch of jaybirds.

"I tried to get the dogs involved but they weren't really interested. It was quite cold and windy that day and I had to keep waiting for my parents to leave to take the photos. I tried to capture the dirt i was sitting on because I thought it'd be interesting photographically. I didn't try to sexualise anything (it didn't seem right for the location, being my parents house) and just have fun with it."

"Je me suis beaucoup amusee pour mon premier shoot, l'ambiance du lieu tres vintage m'a immediatement inspiree et le chat n'arretait pas de vouloir venir poser avec moi!!! J'aime beaucoup prendre des photos de moi et cette experience m'a permis d aller plus loin : j ai adore joue avec le miroir pour montrer mon corps sous de nouveaux angles."
