"With the sun shining and my props in hand, I headed for the backyard with my camera and my body ready. I love colour, and with my pink hair I had chosen a bit of a theme - pink! But, the bright green grass played a gorgeous role too. I really enjoyed playing with the light, angles, colour and felt like a cheeky little garden nymph. Inside I felt a great power when using the table and chair and felt my inner temptress rising."

"1am is probably the best way to avoid long lines for the squat rack and the best time for people returning from the pub to stumble upon a naked girl skipping around a gym with big windows. "Collecting photos for my folio over several months has been a really exhilarating experience. I chose to do it in various locations - I move around a lot - so there are photos from three different places I've lived. Each one offered something different - a different environment, lighting, opportunities to be alone and take some sexy pictures of myself, and thus creative inspiration. I found myself smiling a lot during my photos, which I took as a great sign to mean I felt good about how my body looked in the photos... which is a really exciting thing for me!"

"My shoot began with some goofy 'test selfies'inside and I eventually realised how much more vibrant the photos were turning out when taken in natural sunlight. As well as helping to warm me up, the setting sun bathed everything in a lovely golden light and inspired me to try new things, to laugh and smile and to become a little more adventurous."

"I completely lost track of time, and when the sun came through the clouds I began to enjoy the warmth of it and had an exceedingly better time. I found myself wanting to bring my body closer to the sun that was hitting the head of my bed so began to cling to the cast iron of my bed frame. It was most enjoyable when I began to become more acrobatic and test my body's abilities."

Coming home from the office, I had the idea to explore the concept of rebelling against this and pushing the boundaries. Being a dancer, I like to stretch and bend my body into different shapes. While doing the I Shot Myself project, I felt a sense of freedom and empowerment, it was an exhilerating feeling."

"I shot this folio in my warehouse apartment/loft. It's on the top floor of a commercial building and has windows on all sides, so it is always full of light. I love using the big open space for art projects, and I also love climbing out on the huge silver roof to take photos, paint, and dance around with friends. Shooting these pictures made me think of my college days, when my friends and I used to do nude photo shoots for our photography classes all the time."

Every so often, a few kilobytes worth of images slip into the ether, and end up lost in the depths of ISM's considerable archives. From a system POV, those kilobytes aren't much - but in reality, every folio represents one woman's valuable contribution to our cause, and losing one is a little tradgedy!
