Amarna Miller has caused a bit of a tizzy around here at HQ, and it's really no wonder - her absurdly adorable personality combined with that accent would have any of us spinning in our office chairs, even before she takes her clothes off. Now, her video debut with a series of Shibari demonstrations has taken our crush to a whole new level, or hearts tied up in (perfectly executed) knots.

"As a lover of 1940s film and vintage glamour, this shoot gave me the chance to embody my own version of a 40s film star. My turban and cigarette holder were inspired by stars such as Dietrich and Garbo, and my outfit was sourced from various op-shops and retro clothing stores. I love the 1940s as it was an era of empowerment for women whislt setting extremely stylish trends that have continued today."

There amongst the concrete pillars and the rusted soda cans, sighing against the cold grey walls, moving slowly through shadowed and abandoned places, Izzabella's prescence pierces right to the heart of us. Alternately dirty and admonishing, her actions echo a personality rife with contradictions. And it seems that Izzabella is perfectly content with that state of affairs.

"My first shoot was in the springtime sunny suburban lawn of my home. Just one of my homes. I am at home in my skin. No need to cover it up. Just me, Bijoux, Thyme, some strawberries and a ukulele. "When I hear the thunder boom at the same time with the lightning I get these energetic excitement tingles all the way down my thighs to my toes as well as across my arm to my finger tips. At some stages of taking the photos I felt like I was in a movie, it was so sexy, being tangled up on the lace across my couch and then getting on the dusty old rug on the ground."

"I chose to do my duo ISM with Kaela because we have a very comfortable relationship. Shooting together was very funny, it definitely was a whole new level of our friendship. We didn't realise that above us was a hill full of people who had a perfect birds eye view of us taking naked photos amongst the grass and the trees. We were able to brush this off though, just pretended that it was only the two of us. At the beginning of the shot we were wearing denim but as we got more comfortable the layers started to come off." -Akira

"A little tour of my wonderful joy-filled day of playing with the camera. I'm house-sitting a guinea pig for a neighbour, his names is Squeak just in case you were wondering. Because I get the whole house to myself I thought it would be appropriate to bring along a box of toys. And naturally when I have a camera in one hand and my favourite purple dildo (which is actually a strap on) in the other, temptation got the best of me and I had to use both of them at the same time. "

"I started off in my bedroom but as the sun started shining, I couldn't resist going outside to feel it on my skin, and to play with the natural shadows. I had just bought a new jar of beautiful honey earlier that morning and cos it tasted so good during breaksfast, I wanted to feel it on me too. I love the rich sweetness of it, and the stickiness as it ran over my body and then lightly stuck to my hair."

"Tree ferns and tropical green. My body was warm and tan. When I shoot myself I like to look as close as possible into my body so I can see every little hair on my skin, and all the details of my muscles under the skin, my bones under my muscles. I love my butt the best, but my vagina is like, amazing to me. I can't stop taking pictures of it and trying to see always further into my own self."

"On an average Monday in Springfield, USA I shot myself out in my backyard with a couple of vintage mirrors from my grandmother, a digital camera, and a video camera. The sun was beaming down for a while (nothing like the feeling of being naked in the sun!) but it kept raining in little bursts so I had to do most of the shoot/video inside. In this video I wanted to explain to myself and to anyone watching/looking at my pictures exactly why a feminist is taking naked pictures of herself. Putting the camera in my hands and letting the words come out of my own mouth lets me reclaim my sexuality and makes me a person, not an object."

"In this place I feel most alive & I can tap into every creative aspect of my mind. This place was too perfect, dusty, unique... Me. I love every corner of the studio & I tried to capture that in my photos. I toyed with shards of broken mirror as well as adventuring outside of the warehouse as soon as no one was around. The only sounds I could hear were the distant aggressive horns from the traffic and the low rumbling of the cargo trucks going past."

"I shot myself on an afternoon I'd kept free to be myself. I opened the french doors of my bedroom in my large share house to let the light and fresh air in. I spent a couple hours being creative, experimenting with the light and angles. I felt liberated and happy after the shoot; not only had I taken my clothes off, I had also gotten rid of some heavy emotions that were with me. After the shoot, I enjoyed the last of the day's sun and walked around my local park with a spring in my step."

"Today was my first shoot in quite a while, was so excited to finally get to use a mirror and be outside in the sun on what may turn out to be the last utterly beautiful day before winter sets in. I thought my backyard was secluded and private, though after checking out my photos I wouldn't be surprised if the neighbours (on two sides of the property) got a good show that afternoon! The light was too good to resist and the grass was soft even if it got stuck on me!"
