"On a typically "Melbourne weather" day in the northern suburbs, I shot myself. I didn't eat before the shoot because I was too excited to get started. I wore my derby gear with no socks and no padding underneath so I could feel raw. One minute it was sunny and I was smiling and the next, I felt pelted by rain, standing by a fence or a brick, letting the real me emerge, captured by the lense. I shot myself, kneeling on the concrete, in the rain. The feeling was...real, intense, free."

"Me prendre en photo nue dans un jardin fut une tres belle experience pour moi. La chaleur des rayons du soleil sur ma peau, la fraicheur de l'herbe a l'ombre du citronnier... C'est une sensation etrange et finalement tellement liberatrice. Quoi de plus naturel quand on y pense!//Shooting me naked in a garden was a beautiful experience for me. The heat of sunrays on my skin, the coolness of grass under the lemon tree's shade... Strange feeling and at the end so liberating. Such a natural thing to do when we think about it!"

"I got a nasty rope burn in a few places across my body, especially my breasts, as they're very sensitive. I especially loved it when I wrapped the rope around my head because it made my hair look awesome. I loved the feel of the rope in my mouth, I always just wanted to bite down as hard as I could. Those little pleasures make such a big difference. I'll never forget the feel of my boobs being really tightly tied up, it made them feel weird fake squished, which was unlike anything I've felt before which was a massive turn on for me. I think I’ve just found my new fetish..."

At HQ, we're torn between admiration of Omo's perfect, fluid movements and beautiful body and the feeling that we too should get out of our computer chairs and be concious of our own bodies. We've compromised - stretching while we watch Omo dance is the best of both worlds, getting our blood moving in all the best ways.

"Very beautiful experience, at the beginning I was a bit prudish. I noticed that the pictures reflected my emotions. The more pictures I took, the more I felt comfortable with my body. When I was at home in my large bulding, I had to open the curtain for the light.. Neighbors are able to see me... my god. Nudity is something very natural, never mind the ones who will care. And not easy city to find a peaceful place to take pictures outside. Energetic and fun... I would like to repeat the experience 10 years later..."

Oh Pearline, we sing your praises - of fast food and fast cars, good girls, bad girls, and nonchalantly erotic elegance. Finding this shoot in the archives, untouched, unedited, pristine, was like finding a diamond in a hot dog. Downright sublime. Stop me if you know this, Pearline, but none of those photoshopped models can hold a candle to you, naked under the flash, gripping a hamburger like your life depends on it. Extra hot.

"Anyone who knows me could tell you I'm a horror movie buff, so I jumped at the opportunity to bare all in the cemetery. I actually chose a day that would be fairly sunny & not too cold... because cold marble doesn't feel the best on bare skin. I took a buddy along to help me keep a lookout for any accidental onlookers, one car drove past but luckily I was out of sight by then. Everything worked out great, the weather was probably a bit too great as I burnt my butt against the marble from a tomb stone. The mixed feeling of excitement and taboo caused such an adrenaline rush."

"Doing this shoot in our house was pretty risky cause we live with some friends.... And of course they caught us making love in our living room on the surfboard! His reaction was hilarious... he just ran away yelling “SORRY GUYS!”! So then we had the house all for us! It was interesting to experiment with all the different angles we could get ourselves into.... Watching how we look when we make love, see how he touched my bum or how he looked at me from behind. We had also a lot of fun, playing, laughing, cuddling and making funny pictures. -Gaiah

"This shoot was inspired by classic 1950's pinup shoots; cute and quirky with an erotic twist. It was harder than I thought, trying to not get the camera wet while still creating unique and sexy images. I really enjoyed the experience though, despite being so obscenely cold. I even found myself being turned on by what I was doing!"

"I have to admit that I have a bit of a 'thing' for panties. I like to use that word when we're talking, like, a sexual thing, it turns me on. When I'm just talking about the item of clothing it's underwear but when it's kind of sexy, I like to say panties. And I like to play with them. I'm not sure where this came from, but I hope you feel the same way."

"This shoot was, in a sense, my last hurrah. Taken in my bedroom, and using the things I've collected over the past year whilst on my travels. Shooting myself has definitely been a journey in learning the ins and outs of my body, but also in remembering all the things I've done and all the experiences I've gained in the past year to make me the person I am today. A truly fulfilling and enjoyable experience."

"Nude photography on a sunny day was incredibly fun and liberating. Although, one should be warned that the combination of the Aussie sunshine, mirrors and a fully naked body make for sunburnt bum cheeks. I felt very joyous and giggly during the shoot, and wouldn't hesitate to do it again."

"Being a traveller I find myself in some strange places and strive to experience the present. Being aroused generally by nature I allowed the elements - the softness of my favourite fabrics, the roughness of the earth and its foliage, the wind making music with my jewellery and caressing my skin - to inspire me and bring out some sensual and wild images."

"So I ended up deciding to construct a wonderful piece of bubble painting for my ISM video. It did not turn out so well. The bubbles didn't pop on the page like I wanted them to, the splatter effect wasn't nearly as rad. It was frustrating trying to get the mixture soapy enough to form proper bubbles, but was definitely satisfying when I blew the first one."
