"I went to one of the main beaches, it was almost deserted with only the mid-morning dog walkers out enjoying the day. I came across it by accident one day when I had walked quite a few miles along the beach, enjoying the fresh water as I splashed my feet in it. Surrounded by lots of trees with white sand underneath, it's definitely private enough for what I had in mind..."

"Taking my photos I looked behind me to see a bee, after it flew away I went inside and looked over my photos and I thought I noticed a smudge on the mirror in one of the photos, so determined to have great mirror shots I grabbed the mirror and cleaned it vigorously; picked up my tshirt which I laid down on the ground and noticed the bee had followed me in. It didn't seem to want to leave the shirt so I took it with me for a ride moving it to the mirror I gave it eternal fame in my photos and dubbed my little friend Cecelia."

"This folio is an ode to water. Even though I shot on a sunny day it was still freezing out! I think I had goose bumps the entire time, maybe you can see them if you look close enough. I had to be super careful to keep drops of water off the camera, and my towel got soaked, too. But it was all worth it, and loads of fun!"

"When I shot myself in the industrial feeling brick alley that leads up to our house, I felt like I was hidden in a little cubby hole, my own little secret hole where I could be naked and free. I loved the contrast of the brick wall and my dress. I chose to do the shoot with this dress as it is such a beautiful dress that my Mum made and is a little bit like me.... feminine, but a little bit rough, patchy and unique."

"Weil die Natur um mich herum so bezaubernd und das Wetter so super war, hatte ich die Idee, Nacktfotos von mir zu machen. Am Anfang war ich etwas schuechtern, aber ich stellte schnell fest, wie gut mein Koerper und die Natur doch zusammen passen. Es verbesserte mein Selbstbewusstsein und ich hatte einen Riesenspass."

"En este folio enseno parte de mi trabajo personal como ilustradora, mis dibujos, mis bocetos... Es una parte muy personal y privada de mi misma asi que espero que os guste! Tambien, como podeis ver en las fotos, aparezco en algunos de mis dibujos... Me he sentido muy conectada con la camara, no solo con mi cuerpo, tambien con mi mente... Estaba pensando todo el tiempo “Sere una chica sexy, apareciendo en Ishotmyself!!” y eso me hace sentir bien. Definitivamente ha sido una experiencia maravillosa!"

"Nothing forced can ever be beautiful," says Clare_L, and suits her actions to her words as she connects easily and casually with the camera. Her nudity doesn't stand out as odd - alone in her stables, Clare_L is naturally sensual, reminiscing about stable-boys and lovers as easily as she recalls the countries she's traveled to, and all the horses she rode and care for in her life.

"The day started off beautiful and sunny, thankfully! Lovely warm weather to comfort my naked body, it was a flowery nature/garden based self photoshoot. I enjoyed the whole thing as it gave me the chance to express myself, be creative and best of all be myself. I love generally being outdoors. I felt very relaxed being outdoors in the sun."

"I love the way that bodies bend and the shapes that we can make with them. For this shoot I wanted to explore this idea and to expose the boney structures that help to create these shapes. So I tried to take photos of my body in fully stretched positions where the bones and angles were accentuated."

"En arrivant sur le lieu du shooting, ma premiere reaction: verifier qu'il n'y a pas de vis-a-vis! Mais en fait, je me sentais de plus a l'aise au fur et a mesure que je me deshabillais. Il y avait une petite brise qui me faisait frissoner. J'aime ressentir la fraicheur sur ma poitrine, je trouve que ca la rend plus ferme et jolie a regarder. Finalement, je serais bien restee la toute la journee a me prendre en photo."

"C'etait assez etrange de faire cette sceance de photos, je n'ai pas l'habitude de me montrer nu, mais ce n'etait pas derangeant pour autant ! Il n'y a que le premier pas qui coute apres tout. Et puis apres on se met en scene, on s'amuse, ca devient un jeu. Notre appartement manque cruellement de lumiere, alors quand on a du garder le chat d'un couple d'amis qui ont un superbe lieu de vie, on a saute sur l'occasion ! Et je crois que ca a rajoute du piment de faire ca chez quelqu'un d'autre, qui ne s'imaginera jamais ce qui a bien pu se passer dans son salon !"-Marcel_D

"I'd never think to do this kind of thing, being raised quite conservative. However I actually found it quite liberating and I do feel this experience is empowering for women. I am proud of my body and proud of my shots. Ive never seen myself from a guys perspective so its amazing to have these shots and see that I have a banging body!"

"Getting my titties out in a public park with random dog-walkers passing by was a challenge to the self-conscious esteem. Having never taken naked photos before it was a bit daunting. It took a few shots to figure out where and what would work best. I liked the edgy concrete storm breaker with flowers and grass growing out all over. This was the push I needed to put myself out there and really embrace the body I am in; to get comfortable in the skin I live in. And I hope some of those dog-walkers got a good view, too.

"It began innocently, to show my tan lines to my friends and it slowly became a new folio. Summer is a good season to show its body, and during the holidays I feel so free... And for once I have tan lines to show! Hell yeah! So why not enjoy it, and share it with you?"

"It's bright ridiculously early in the last months of summer. I begin shooting around 7 am, the garden already warm and saturated with light. I'm still wearing lipstick, which is a blood red I've bought a year ago, something about it gives my face a completeness, like I look more like myself than without it."
