"The night before my shoot, I was so excited that I couldn't sleep. As soon as I woke up, I pulled open the blind to my artists' attic bedroom and opened the window, letting the cool breeze in. It rustled the sheets, making them brush over my nipples, arousing me and my creative mind. I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to depict the 'perfect morning'. I wanted to show how the sheets felt against my skin and how the naturalness and simple beauty of an ordinary morning can turn into an extraordinary one."

"Mit Mylah nackt auf dem Golfplatz rumzuturnen und sich im Gras zu waelzen war superlustig. Besonders viel Spass hatten wir, als ein paar Golfer vorbeikamen und freudig ueberraschte Gesichter gemacht haben. "It has been such a beautiful experience working with my body and really observing and understanding my physical self. I used pieces from a shattered mirror and put them in all sorts of positions, and really explored myself through the reflections. I felt I was being creative at its most raw. In my usual art practice everything is very theatrical, so this took me out of my comfort zone in the best way imaginable. I really loved and enjoyed the shoot."

"I have never taken so many photos of my vagina in my life. It was hilarious and a little bit daunting to try and think of how to present my body to the camera (most of my initial attempts involved blinding myself with the flash whilst trying to shoot a picture of my boob.) It's odd, but this project encouraged my vanity. I've never seen my entire self on film before and it was satisfying to see that all of the insecurities I normally have didn't bother me as much after looking at myself through the eyes of the camera."

"Working in the bedroom with my favourite colour red was more of a challenge than I expected, I worked up quite a sweat maneuvering around my bed. I love bringing in new props to play with and the red-backed cards added an element of fun along with my hat and heels. The ace of spades with its "A" for Alexa, the queen of hearts, an obvious choice and the joker for my playful side. I have always felt comfortable in my own skin but these shoots have made me feel radiantly beautiful and I can't stop smiling when I think about some of the shots!

"Initially I felt quite nervous being in such an open space with the beach setting, with the chance of people walking past and boats going by, but the more photos I took, the easier it became. I really enjoyed the creativity element of the whole process - my natural body against the elements of the external environment, the cultural contrast between nature and nurture."

"Jag har haft den har kanslan i manga ar. Jag alskar Egyptiska linnelakan! Den basta kanslan ar nar dom precis har kommit ut ur torktumlaren, varma, krispiga och rena. Det ar annu battre nar jag precis har tagit en dusch. Att fa lagga sig i rena nya lakan ar den basta kanslan jag vet! Man spenderar nastan 8 timmar i sangen och under dom 8 timmarna vill jag ha det sa bra som majligt. Att ta fotona i sangen kanndes avslappnat och som ett bra satt att spendera dagen efter att ha kort langs kusten hela helgen."

"Flowers are so feminine, the way they smell, look and feel. Our garden is bursting up with them all over the place, so I got out amongst them to embrace my feminine body and the radiant sun. I had a nice little picnic afterwards, snacking on some dip and bikkies, and then finished it off with a delicious and well earned rainbow paddle pop!"

Okay, no one likes moving house - but we're fully convinced that it's just because no one moves house quite like Verelee. "My girlfriend decided that it would be really sexy if she left a handprint on my ass for a couple of the pictures, so I let her slap me. Unfortunately she got too excited and hit me as hard as she could, leaving a huge blue/red handprint in raised skin on my butt, making me look like I got some kind of horrible rash. So instead of looking a little bit sexy and a bit kinky I just looked diseased. It still hurts now, two days later."

"I went to one of the main beaches, it was almost deserted with only the mid-morning dog walkers out enjoying the day. I came across it by accident one day when I had walked quite a few miles along the beach, enjoying the fresh water as I splashed my feet in it. Surrounded by lots of trees with white sand underneath, it's definitely private enough for what I had in mind..."

"Taking my photos I looked behind me to see a bee, after it flew away I went inside and looked over my photos and I thought I noticed a smudge on the mirror in one of the photos, so determined to have great mirror shots I grabbed the mirror and cleaned it vigorously; picked up my tshirt which I laid down on the ground and noticed the bee had followed me in. It didn't seem to want to leave the shirt so I took it with me for a ride moving it to the mirror I gave it eternal fame in my photos and dubbed my little friend Cecelia."
