"Despite it being summer, it was pouring but I had a great time messing around in the rain. Being covered in grass and leaves made the shoot more authentic and natural; I'd choose this over a sunny day for sure. I felt a bit silly at times, but for the most part, I felt free and daring."

"I stole my landlord's mirror and took the first 20 photos right in the middle of my apartment entryway. Thank goodness it has a back entrance! I set the mirror up facing me, so that I was not in plain view of the window to the office building above me. I did not realize that the mirror was definitely visible from their desk. Ah, well. Who isn't a fan of public nudity?"

Near or far, in this age of miracles our loved ones are only a phone call away... however, no matter how much we adore her, we don't think we qualify as Leena's loved onje. No, it must be someone else she's calling, someone Leena misses them more than mere vocabulary can express - a dearly loved one, indeed.

"On my day off work this week, a girl friend and I were driving up in the hills of Perth to go pick strawberries. Not far from the strawberry farm we came across this garden where we thought we could get a bit creative and take some nude shots at the same time. I felt so warm against the sun and so at peace with nature. As the sun started to fade, we drove home and made a strawberry cheesecake with my newly picked strawberries."

"As I took the first few photos of the shoot, I found it hard to be as creative as I would've liked to be. As I progressed, I found that it's actually not often you photograph your body so thoroughly while you hold the camera. I incorporated my violin into some of the photos because it is a huge part of my self expression. It fit right in to my understanding of I Shot Myself."

"There were actually people all around, and I tried to find somewhere with no one, but by that time I was completely naked and I really forgot I was naked at all. The fishermen didn't even say anything, they must have just got the vibe that I was really comfortable and so they were too. I got covered by ant bites in places you probably shouldn't be bitten"

"This is my not so hidden world of playing in the backyard with Gracie, after lazing about in the morning, feeling a sudden urge to just pickup Gracie's camera & start going crazy with the hose in the back yard. The water started out quite cold, but once we we're fully wet the temperature didn't seem to bother us." -Kenji

"We don't get many sunny days in England and as usual it rained all morning so as soon as I saw the sun peaking its head, I knew a picnic was the day's agenda. But who wants to picnic on their own? So I made a friend out of an apple. We had so much fun rolling around in the garden all day. It's a good job my dog Sandy wasn't about. She was so tired, she had a late night."

"It was a little bit nerve wracking taking my clothes off at first, I was still worried someone might wander off the path and find me there and the awkward exchange that would follow. It felt good, though, to be outdoors completely nude and feeling the grass and breeze and sunshine on my skin. I felt giddy and liberated after I took the photos, like I have made something I am proud of, that I hope others enjoy!"

"I took a train to the very last stop along the coast and got off by the beach. It was SO cold that day, autumn is passing and the dreaded chilly weather is setting in, so I spent a good deal of time cuddled up in my blanket. It was a really gorgeous area and I was so pleased with the colours of the landscape in the background. Overall, an incredible day at the beach..."

"The candles were in the bottom of my kitchen sink, and I thought the colours would look really interesting on my pale skin. They smelt really sweet. They burnt, but not too hot, mostly I was right at my window which is the second story and I was worried the neighbours could see me, as I kept hearing cars pull in and out of the drive way."
