"This folio started with just some practice shots when I was playing with the manual settings of my camera for the first time. It made everything come out really yellow but I don't mind, it's my favourite colour. It makes me think of summer and happiness. I've wanted to do a shoot in my vintage swimsuit for a long time, the straps are too long so I can't wear it swimming or my boobs come out. I also thought it was time you met my kitty Molly but I think I was more enthusiastic about being in photos than she was."

"I love nothing more than having a chilled out day watching movies, especially Disney movies. Aladdin has always been one of my favourite movies, and I decided to create my own magic on a magic carpet. As an adventourous and wild person myself I let the inner Jasmine take over me to create my shoot. I am pretty confident in my body and found it thrilling and exciting to take pictures of myself rolling around on my rug. Who knew a movie day be could so exciting..."

"For me, it was a sexual experience and at times, very arousing! However, sex is normally a free flowing experience and you don't think about anything other than giving and taking pleasure. Shooting ourselves involved thinking about lighting, making sexy shapes, and trying to be sexually creative. It then also began to feel like a very liberated art project. "In this shoot I explored the details of my body through soft macro photography and odd angles, featuring me in pastel lingerie and my pet rabbit. We played in the sun on my balcony, and rolled around on my bed with my leopard print sheets like a little kitty! View all the differents parts of me; stick n poke tattoos, pale skin, blemishes and all, super close up!"

"During the shoot I was spotted by various people who didnt seem to mind me being naked. Their relaxed attitudes to my nudity pleased me. At one point whilst undressing, I even encountered a long lense camera being pointed in my direction, and I was suprised to discover that its owner was in fact a female. So, as well as being imortalised by I Shot Myself, there's also every possibility that I may also be hanging on middle-aged lady's bathroom wall too!

"I traveled to a very nice town near mine and found myself enjoying an afternoon by a river. I sunbathed for a little while and then started taking pictures of me. I found a flower that seemed to me very cute to use in the photos. My boyfriend was there looking at me like with desire, that made me feel attractive.."

"I felt empowered and confident for the first time ever. I've always been to critical of my body and myself so this was a huge step for me. I never would have thought I would feel so good about myself and my body the way it is. I decided to do hello kitty themed photos, as I am a huge fan. I liked using the soft toys and my body to work with and my tattoos, just something cute but a little naughty as well."

"This morning when I started my photo shoot I felt a bit strange. But once I started getting into it I had a blast! Half way through the shoot my roommate made breakfast, and I could smell the maple glazed bacon sizzlin' in the kitchen. All I needed was a bit of inspiration from that and a reminder of the results from the Canucks game earlier this week! Go CANADA GO!!"

"As soon as I saw the fruit bats, immediately I thought this is my kind of place. I've always felt a very deep connection to the bush. I felt at ease straight away, and the screeching of the bats made it very easy to get into my zone and block any distractions out of my mind. My favourite shots would have to be the upside down ones with the canopy of trees in the background, I had an idea to roll with and it came out just as I saw it in my head, if not better. I was ecstatic."

"A sunny day when I'm not at work - a perfect day to go exploring. I had a lot of fun going with the theme of broken/worn/desecrated, juxtaposed against my fleshy body. My stockings slowly got more and more ripped as I became more playful and confident, eventually being completely removed. The sunshine was warm against my skin as I found timber posts, old glass bottles, and concrete to refashion as photo props to accentuate the outlines of my curves. A productive daytrip!"
