"At the begining of my shoot I was feeling a bit off. I wasn't sure how to go about taking the photos or how to portray my body in a flattering way. My boyfriend joined me out in the yard and reminded me why I wanted to do this; to show my body honestly and have fun with the project. We turned on the stereo and danced around for a bit until I felt relaxed and comfortable. The plastic wrap gave me confidence too. I loved the way it looked against my skin and the colours it made when the light shined through it."

"I loved writing some words on me, I can translate some: pizda - pussy. Pasiune - passion, placere - pleasure, clitoris - I think it's clitoris too in english. Apoi a vrut - 'and then he wanted'. It's funny how I found this words in the newspaper, it matched perfectly when I glued it near my pussy. It wasn't a very hot day, the wind was bad, but I manage the newpapers with scotch tape and rocks so they won't leave."

"I recently had a kid join me in the park whilst practicing yoga and when his grandma called him away an hour or so later, he commented "You know, your training is more like playing!" Instead of being insulted, I felt that it was the biggest compliment that I had received in a long time and the more I thought about it the more I decided that more adults need to learn to 'play'. Hopefully I captured that attitude in this series of photographs, you're never too old to play!"

"I had all of these wonderful ideas, but I underestimated things like angles, and how far my arm would actually reach and how hard it is to hold a camera with your feet! It was difficult! Haha. I had a wonderful time, embracing my body and seeing myself from so many angles and in a whole new light. I didn't use alot of props, I wanted to really work with different positions and natural beauty. What I may criticize, someone else could love."

It doesn't take much to make Ambra_A happy - just strong sunshine, roses as red and lush as her lips, and a perfect blue sky have got her beaming bright enough to give that sun a run for its money. It doesn't take much to make us happy, either. Just Ambra_A - with a camera in her hand, of course.

"The shoot was quite simple as it was pretty much just me, how I am naturally, except naked. I used two mirrors in the shoot to show things as a whole and not just as far as I could reach. I love the close ups too, but I really wanted to show the real me. I had difficulty thinking of ideas and different angles to shoot from but once I got comfortable it became much easier. I really enjoyed getting to know my body from a different perspective. I would recommend this to everyone, it's really eye opening."

"When I started the I Shot Myself Project, I realized I had no idea what all of my body looked like. It was exciting to see for the first time the way my body is put together; not in a clinical textbook way, but in a personal and loving manner. The project was fun becasue I got to be in my everyday spaces, but completely naked. It made experiencing those places special, like more of my senses were engaged directly with the environment."

"I never expected to find myself in the middle of a rainforest, but here I am - naked with camera in hand! The thought of proudly displaying my body to the general public provoked a mix of emotions, but no more hiding! I am ready to show it all. A little flower in the beautiful thicket, a natural body in a natural environment, what could be better?"

Elsa_H has a lot of hilarity and wisdom to share with us this fine morning, so sit down and strap in - we're about to change a tire. Or, at least, we're gonna watch Elsa_H change a tire. I mean, at very least, we're gonna watch Elsa_H try to change a tire... anyway. Trust us - she's hilarious.

"These shots were taken at my local beach and also a very special lake which is a very sacred ground for ladies. I felt really honoured to be able to capture my body and its artistic expression in the great outdoors with such wonderful natural lighting. I hope my shots inspire every other woman to be so simply happy in her own nakedness and to inspire us all to get out there and get creative with our imaginations, cameras, and bodies."

"I've been admiring this vintage lace dressing gown in my friends closet for months now. So I decided to borrow it and have some fun. I'm living alone in an apartment this summer and I feel less lonely knowing I can share myself with y'all. I'm right in front of my screen door and at one point this lady walked across in front of my balcony and didn't notice a thing."

"I decided to use a wedding dress for part of my theme in taking in these photos. I have never been married before but thought, "Hey, if my partner sees these pictures it will give him a hint of just how good I look in one." The beach pictures were hard to do as it was so cold out there, then when i was taking them I felt embarrased a bit as there was a man in a suit and a labourer man that just so happened to be peering over the cliff watching me. I did not realise until last minute."

"It was awesome to get invited back to do another folio for ISM. Thanks for all your comments on my first folio! This time I shot in the 'library', that's what we call this room anyway. I hope you like it and I'll be doing another one soon hopefully!"

"Die ersten Schüsse waren schon Spaß, aber nach einer Weile fühlte ich mich, es war wie eine normale Sache. Worte, um meine Gefühle zu beschreiben sind Stammes, Freiheit, Safe, Liebe. Words to describe my feelings are tribal, freedom, safe, love. The way around felt suddenly strange, why do we put on clothes? We don't have anything to hide, right?"

"One of my favourite things about being human is to feel that magnanimous sun beam down upon my naked skin. So with a fresh sky and clear eyes, craft bag and feather trinkets, I set off into the cow filled paddocks to capture my piece of bliss beneath the golden rays."
