"I wanted to convey the simplicity of my body in a natural setting. I also tried to include some more risque shots that show that pain can be a pleasurable experience. I've been a BDSM freak for as long as I can remember, and for me it's an intregal part o my personality, not just my sexuality. I enjoy the range of emotions that come with such intense experiences, and the immense amount of trust involved - anything that makes adrenaline flow around my body turns me on. For me, I think it's important to send out the message that sexuality and promiscuity shouldn't be seen as a negative thing. As long as it's safe and consensual it should be celebrated!"

"Christmas is my favourite time of the year. I love how festive it is and how people come together and enjoy each other’s company. When I took the photos of myself, I wanted to make it as cheery as possible so I wrapped myself in tinsel and took photos in my family home around the family Christmas tree. I really enjoyed taking the photos because I love expressing my feelings and thoughts through photography. I am so pleased that I get to share these photos with others at this time of year."

"For this shoot, I decided to use my pool, although it was pretty cold! I used a volleyball and floats as props to balance on and play with. The underwater shots were really fun to do as it feels so much more freeing underwater. What I loved the most about using the pool was trying to balance and finding positions to do, whilst still trying to float!"

From the moment we're admitted to Liza_K's home, things get a little surreal - it's hard to concentrate on the sweet, friendly tour she's giving us, when she's just so damn... amazing. But as long as she's willing to explore with us, we'll be right here, watching - and doing our very best to listen, too.

"The feeling of unknown flesh in precarious places is how a live octopus feels draped on your skin. It's much harder than it seems to get an octopus to stick to you, it's still pretty slimy even in the afterlife. I really enjoyed the texture, it feels just like someone else's skin so it's not that foreign of a feeling to have touching you. The smell is however, very different to human skin! It's beautiful to notice how the octopus changed color as the shoot went on, it became a whole new entity with every picture! I love pushing boundaries with normality and shooting with a real octopus is something I often daydreamed about. Some girls dream of ponies, I dream of sea slugs!"

"I laid my rug out on the bank of the river. The long grass was cut with the shadows of the late afternoon sun. I played some Jose Gonzalez and rolled around in the grass, surprised and delighted to discover I was turned on by the camera. A while later I emerged from my reverie covered in scratches, my sturdy black-framed glasses discarded and lost somewhere in the prickles. I emerged, my vision foggy, as if from a dream."

"Cosa ci puo' essere di migliore nella vita che sentirsi perfettamente in equilibrio con la madre terra? Basta togliere i vestiti, respirare a fondo e guardarsi nudi in armonia con il mondo. "The light was very nice in the morning. I tried to start shooting myself in another part of the house where there's lot of direct light. I thought it would look great, but it was disastrous because I'm so white! All the photos were white, so I limited to stay in the dressing room. Anyway then I got hooked with the mirror stuff and my boots, I love my boots! And I'm glad I have the chance to show my boots and my nude body to the world. I hope you like my small but natural breasts, my bottom and me as a whole!"

"When I heard about ISM I felt empowered to do it, especially at this stage in my life. I am about to turn 60 in a couple of weeks and going into menopause I have gained a couple of kilos so baring my beautiful, yet imperfect, body just felt right. I felt so free while taking these photos, it was a great experience."

"It was a nice morning but I was so bored, at home, alone, so I said "Why not play with the camera?" I enjoyed myself. I get horny when I take myself nude photos. It's really exciting the idea that somebody can arrive from work and catch me! :P"

"During my hunt for bugs last time, I noticed my garden was looking slightly dire, so I set out to liven up my dead garden with a splash of ice cold water. I think I may have gone a bit overboard when I got distracted though..."

"Doing this shot outside and hanging the red clothes on the clothesline on one of the coldest days of the year was a slow process for two reasons: one because I'd kept having to run inside and stand over the heater to warm up and two because I wanted to avoid the middle-aged neighbour who often sticks her head over the back fence to have a chat! I wanted to include clothes without a body inside them by hanging them on the clothesline. To me this symbolises the washing out of old steroytypes and cliches surrounding the reality of being a woman, and of being naked."

"I made this shooting at home. It was really fun, but I was embarrassed when neighbors noticed me in the window. After watching all photos I was really pleased, I liked them very much."

"I have recently moved into a beautiful beachside suburb in a high rise apartment overlooking the bay. Every morning I wake, happy to be alive and living in such picturesque surroundings. I love running along the beach and in nearby parks....I consider this time my meditation. I'm able to indulge in amazing coffee while I sit and watch the passing parade of people, whilst the suns beams warm my body and the nearby sounds of waves crashing against the shore calm my spirit. Living in my sundrenched apartment makes me feel safe and peaceful. My home allows me to look down upon the world, taking it all in, reminding me of how blessed I am to be alive and in this body I was born with."

"Fun fact: I shaved my legs in the rough surf before this shoot (not that there's anything wrong with body hair, just felt like being smooth) and my tub of moisturizer was swept away. When I chased it down it was full of sand, but who knew - that created the perfect exfoliator! Also the location was in a much more direct view of the road and passing trucks than I thought... I had a bit of a multiple-drive-by, iPhone-out-the-window or pulling-over-just-up-the-road type audience. At least nobody called the police. I wish nakedness wasn't such a big deal to most of society. This was the most fun I've had and pure bliss I've felt by myself in awhile and I'm really glad I did it."
