Now that we've swapped over to contributor-quoted blurbs, there's a bit of a mysterious feeling when a folio comes in without one. Amelia T may have been hush-hush when it comes to describing her shoot experience, but we'd say her body language speaks volumes - satisfied smiles, dynamic movement, and a sunny day spell out a story we can totally relate to.

"I decided to just take the pictures where I was most comfortable, at home, in bed. Every morning my bedroom is filled with glorious golden light that casts wonderful patterns through the stained glass windows. Soon I was able to get the beautiful light to fall across my skin and the interplay of dark shadows and light was fun to play around in. I had some gold paint... it made me feel sexy, made me see my own body as a work of art."

"Taking the photos was a liberating experience; at first it was very difficult getting the right angle and lighting, but after a few tries it all clicked into place. It was interesting seeing my body in a new light. I'm not someone who takes many photos of myself, but I'm starting to appreciate my 'outer beauty'. Getting creative with myself has helped my love my body for how it is, not how I imagine it should be. Having the cat along for the ride definitely made it more of a playful experience, he made it easier and I felt less self-conscious. All in all, an amazing experience and I can't wait to do it again!"

"I had fun this shoot, I had the place to myself, so I had the music on loud and could fully concentrate on what I was doing. I tried to still keep the theme of glitter and vibrant colours as I wanted this as an extension of my previous glitter doll shoot. ALthough it is the same theme, it is a totally different effect outside, I felt I looked more natural. I like both shoots equally, but I do like to portray myself in a more natural way."

"I loved the outdoor ones at the park even though the guys would 'accidentally' have their ball fall on the grass inches away from my boobs! 'MERICA! The shoots at home were pretty easy, simply because I forced my roomates to accept I love being naked. I should try waxing, ha. but then again, it was a reminder to accept and love everything on my body!"

"Waking up this morning and getting ready to shoot I really did not comprehend the work I was about to do to make sure I got some great shots. Moving and cleaning mirrors, organizing different lighting through out the day and getting caught nude by a stranger was all part of it! Overall I really enjoyed myself and the experience that came from shooting myself."

"I shot this video in Rarotonga, an idyllic Polynesian bit of paradise, but don't expect picture postcard beach locations - it gets much more exciting (for me, anyway). I'm in an abandoned resort! The local shaman tells me the land it's built on was cursed to bring financial ruin. Now Sheraton is being reclaimed by the jungle and is a spooky hangout for "bad kids", so your Manko fit right in!"

"I shot this folio on the beach near my house in Southern Spain on a few warm autumn days. It is so perfect because all the crowds are gone, and only the occasional fisherman is around to spot you. I climbed trees and towers and walls and rocky outcroppings to take these photos, and even bled a little. It was one of the best days at the beach I have had all year."

"I wasn't nervous about shooting myself naked, I felt rather confident and the duration of the photo involved lots of moving around, trying the camera from different angles. I live with two other girls, but I took the photos while they were out of the house. I was limited as to where I could shoot, for example not having a long mirror, but I like to think I improvised well using techniques that I have learned over the years from interpretative dancing."

"J'aime vivre en ville. Il n'y a rien de mieux que de se ballader a travers les impressionantes constructions et s'arreter ca et la pour prendre des photos. Je me laisse imaginer comment la vie serait si je vivais. Je me vois aller a la fac ici, rencontrer mes amis la, et juste vivre au quotidien dans cette ville. J'espere que vous avez apprecie la vue sur la skyline de cette ville geniale et ce que je montre sur les photos. I love living in the city. There's nothing better than walking through the massive buildings and stopping to take pictures to pass the time. I love to picture myself living there permanently. Imagining myself going to uni there, meeting new friends there, and just living my everyday life in that city. I hope you enjoy the skyline view of my beautiful city, and my naked self too. "

"I hired two girlfriends as bodyguards and ventured into the Botanical Gardens, going commando, ready to drop whenever I felt inspired. I was a wood fairy near the waterfalls, some naked chick hanging off a tree branch and accidentally mooned a group of happy travellers who loved the idea of the shoot. It's been an amazingly liberating experience. Throughout the week no animals were harmed, one garden gnome died..."

"Today was the first day I've had off from babysitting in quite a long time. I spent the day at a girlfriend's house and got naked outside while she played her guitar under a tree. My mind was clear and happy and at peace, it felt good to finally catch a break. My girlfriend decided to get naked too, just for the heck of it. We lost track of time and her Mom came home from work and caught her daughter rolling around the yard naked. I don't think she saw me but I still blushed pretty hard when I had to face her in the house later on!"

"The camera and the mirror are the explosive mixture :) When you love being shot, when you know that you have a huge mirror and a good camera then you begin just to dream about making tones of different pictures! This is about me. And the thought of making totally naked ones drove me crazy, so here's what I've got."

"An overcast and rainy day sent me to my friend's house instead of the beach I had planned on. In the end, it worked out perfectly. I feel so at home there, and that definitely had an effect on my pictures. During the shoot, my friend's housemate walked into the living room while I was in an 'interesting' position with the camera. After an embarrassed explanation of the situation, she became very helpful in suggesting pictures I could be taking. What I thought was going to be a disaster due to the weather became a really fun day, and a great experience!"

"I am a fairy at heart, amongst my friends I am known as 'fairy'. I always knew they existed. I felt trough to my inner self through out the shoot. It was easy to capture my fairy-like elements, floating, free, earthy, fun, colourful, happy and feminine. The essence of beautiful energy, flowing from the core and radiates through to the outside."
