"The shoot took place in my garden. It was a Wind in the Willows inspired picnic, a lazy afternoon in the sun. Books, pillows, a lamp and flowers made up the props on the delicate pink coloured blanket. It has a soft, easy and relaxed feel, simply at rest and calm and enjoying life. I had a lot of fun doing the shoot and was surprised at how much it gave me confidence to feel comfortable with and proud of my body!"

"My favourite thing about this shoot is that my friend and I did it together! The first place we both shot our photos was in a park early in the morning. We were rather apprehensive at the begining and a little cowardly about taking our clothes off. Yet, all of a sudden it became like a game of chicken between us. Who would take their clothes off first? What a daring place to take your clothes off too!"

"I shot these pictures in a friend's backyard full of random signs, mirrors, objects and fitness equipment. This gave me plenty of props to play with. My favorite was the scary clown, it was such a contrast! He is dressed up on a scarecrow's body in the garden just asking to be played with. The name 'Wanderland' came to mind from the mirror I used and the random items I came across as I 'wandered' what would come to mind next. The cat, Felipe, was so curious seeing himself in the mirror that he positioned himself perfectly in some of the shots. Pussy covering pussy!"

"I always love contrast and wanted to include this within my folio. For me, baring it all included not only removing all of my clothes, but stripping off my make-up, ending up 100% natural in some of the shots. For me this was more exposing than just removing my clothes, but I felt truly free as I did so. So my contrast was dolled up vs. stripped down and I tried to mix this through my folio. I also included my two beautiful pets, Florence the rabbit and Lily the kitten. They are of great importance to me, and I felt Florence tied into my theme of stripped down and natural. She is a proper rabbit, big, beautiful, and real."

"This was my most fun shoot yet. I felt really comfortable with myself and the camera and adding in the mirror was a great idea! It was really interesting to see myself above the mirror and how I looked, while channeling my inner pinup girl. Lazing on my beautiful new Egyptian cotton sheets as well was a real treat! Complete indulgence, I loved it!"

"I decided to incorporate make up into my shoot as they say "applying make up can be an art form in itself." It was great fun thinking of different places I could put my makeup gear which would also show off different parts of my body. It was a very hot summer's day when I took the photographs, so I decided to bring my bikini into the shoot to add a dash of colour."

"For my birthday party we had a Batman theme and I was dressed as Catwoman. As a self-proclaimed crazy cat lady, I thought for the shoot I would be Catwoman coming home in the morning from a long night of fighting crime, taking off my costume and playing with my cats."

"Ich hatte mir vorab einige Gedanken gemacht, zum Thema, welche Posen, Requisiten usw, hatte quasi einen Plan im Kopf. Anfangs hab ich versucht, mich an meinen Plan zu halten, doch hab schnell gemerkt, dass es einfach viel mehr Spass macht, im Flow zu sein. Die Haengematte hat das Eis fuer mich gebrochen, ab da fuehlte ich mich echt wohl und es hat mega Spass gemacht. Die Pfauenfedern und der Blick aus dem Gras sind meine Favoriten. Before the shoot I had many thoughts about the theme and stuff I could use. I had made a plan in my head and first I tried to stick with that plan, but realized pretty quick that it's just way more fun to go with the flow. That flow took me all the way through my beautiful backyard. The hammock 'broke the ice' for me, I felt so comfortable and had heaps of fun! The peacock feathers and the pics out of the grass perspective are my faves"

"I didn't realise how easy it would be to take the pictures! I was just clicking away, trying things that didn't just look okay, but felt great to do. It was the first time I'd tried hula hooping naked, well, the first time I'd been naked in my backyard! I'm pretty fine with getting naked, my friends have seen my boobs as often as my face, but it did get a little cold, especially on the concrete. My housemates were out which gave it an element of mischief and my cat was very curious as to what I was up to! It made me feel more open and accepting to rocking around the house naked, I wonder if my neighbours mind..."

"A bathtub in a wheat field. Water poured over skin. Wee in a teacup. Drip down between my legs. Down. Down my body. Sweating in the summer heat and feeling myself. Enjoying my body. My own moisture. My smells and my sex." Click here to see GoldenHour_1.

"Shooting this folio was something totally new for me. I have never felt so empowered before. I saw myself in a whole new light. It was truly amazing to explore my body and find angles that worked and ones that didn't. I love exploring everything the world has to offer me; meeting new people and doing things I never thought I would do, like cliff jumping or dancing at a festival til the sun comes up. I want to experience every aspect of myself to see how the world can influence me. Being naked and exploration goes hand in hand. I really enjoyed myself."

"Je suis une personne assez reserve sur centaines choses e'tant en voyage j'ai reussi a le faire au derrier moment en recontrant une personne qui a bien voulu que je le fasse dans son jardin. Pas facile la vie d'artiste! Je suis tres contente d'avoir franchie le pas, une nouvelle experience realisee. I am a person who keeps hundreds of cool things. But, I was away from home and didn't have much time, luckily I met a person who let me shoot in his garden. Not easy artist's life! I am very happy to have reached this step, a new experiment carried out."

"My shoot was inspired by writer's block! I didn't realize my FRUSTRATING writer's block could so make me feel so sexy! I love the artistic challenge of IShotMyself. The constraint of taking the photo yourself without a timer or 'selfie stick' makes the shoot feel like you're in an bizarre art project, which in a way, it is. I enjoyed contorting my body around my props, trying out new poses and angles while trying to take the photo with one outstretched hand or toe. I felt really beautiful during my shoot, with the silvery light dancing on my naked body and dazzling my skin. My favorite poses were with the ancient typewriter (which by the way, was very heavy resting on my stomach!) I can't wait to do my next IShotMyself!"

"I'm fortunate enough to have some old gym equipment in my garden, so the mix of nature and mechanics was interesting to play around with. So many of us exercise inside, this was like taking a natural physical element of myself back into nature. I wanted to mix up the angles as much as I could, but managed to sunburn my back and back of one leg. The SPF50 must've rubbed off in patches just before I got my camera. My skin has definitely has Scottish genes!"

"I shot in a room with a vintage look to it, from the old wallpaper to the big bright window. It was a great place to get a nice crisp clear photograph - pushed up right against the light. It was about exploration: playing around with the camera and seeing what angles I looked best from. Figuring out what my favourite part of my body was with the help of the lens."
