"I'm a punk rock schoolgirl getting naughty in an alleyway... dirty and grimey and graffiting in the nude, peeking around the corner to make sure no one catches me. No stilettos here, no photoshop or fakeness, just real street art and a cheeky miniskirt. Maybe you could turn a corner one day and see me getting up to mischief..."

"My first idea for my shoot was trying to incorporate lots of different yoga poses, but it proved nearly impossible to shoot myself without falling over! I wanted to keep my shoot simple after that, to properly show off my body in all its glory with no distractions. My folio was shot where I feel most comfortable: on my balcony overlooking the hustle and bustle of the busy streets. It was funny looking down watching everybody go about their daily business with no idea I was completely naked! When I was shooting myself it was incredibly windy, my hair was blowing around everywhere. At first it was distracting, but then I worked it to my advantage, and felt like a supermodel with my hair blowing in the wind and flicking all over my naked body."

"Some of my fondest memories are of riding my horse with my boyfriends and girlfriends to the beach. The girls wearing their tiny, colourful bikinis while the boys ran around naked into the cold and waiting ocean. Doing this shoot brings back of memories those moist, free-loving and uninhibited days."

"I went out to a family camping spot for my shoot. I felt that it was the most natural place to go. When I came on board for this project my first instinct was to include my gun, boots and hat out in the bush that I call home. These aspects are the very essence of who I am and where I come from. It was a crazy cold day however, and since it’s in a valley there was a freezing wind the whole time I took these photos. It was worth it though."

"This challenging yet fun photoset was shot right in my backyard in the 100 degree sun. It took me two hours to complete. Everything was going so smoothly until my neighbor saw me butt ass naked rolling around in the dirt! I hope he doesn't call HOA! This is my first ISM portfolio and I am so happy and pleased with it. I wouldn't want it any other way!"

"The photoshoot today took place at an old friend's house, I chose their house specifically due to the authentic 50's decor that occupies every room. I adore things that are old fashioned and often say that I'm an old soul. My friend was present to give me great ideas and creative input that added more to the shoot that otherwise may not have eventuated. I know once I'm an older woman, I'll look back on this experience with great pride & love in myself. xoxo Lydia"

"Black corset, black lace, heels, pearls and red lipstick made up my outfit of choice. Scent: Flora by Gucci. My mood was sexy and serious when I woke up to a cold rainy Melbourne morning, intent on shooting my folio. As I climbed through the window, the natural light pouring in through the skylight made my bruises and unkempt pubic hair stand out. By the end of the shoot I was rather aroused, excited by who was going to be sharing my experience."

"Shooting myself actually was not as difficult as I thought it would be. The real hassle was to find a interesting place where to do it without either disturbing any neighbor or entice some friends. I even thought about squatting an abandoned place around the corner! But I would not want to create any trouble so I ended up explaining the whole project to a friend and kick him out of his room so that I could use the space. He was behind the door and me inside, laughing all I could!"

Okay ladies and gentlemen, prepare yourselves for Redbird's epic episode two! Not only will we be treated with a couple of her original ukulele songs about her favorite dinosaur (the triceratops) and learning some of sweet skate scooter moves (including a very dangerous move called "The Stack"), Redbird also shares with us what she has been up to during her absence. "Being naked makes you vulnerable. It can express your sexuality and show your raw natural beauty. As a woman I think it's important to feel safe while expressing yourself in this way which is why I did it in my bedroom. The bedroom can be a sensual place but my bedroom has always been my safe haven where I can be and do whatever I want without interruption."

"I don't usually take my selfies being nude, but it was nice experiencing something different. I enjoyed my body and the way I looked when I saw my selfies, but I wasn't totally relaxed when I took them becuase I was thinking I didn't want my neighbors to see me, especially because one of them is so hysterical that she would have made a fuss of it!"

"I've tried to convey my use of make-up in most of my photos to contrast with my naked self. I love my bright red lipstick that I have used in many of the photos, I love the way it just pops out! I only wear it on special occasions normally but I couldn't stand it just sitting on my dresser looking so inviting! I've tried to pair the red lippy with my favourite clothes I wear all the time. I've got a bit of passion for fashion! I used to do calisthenics (an artistic sport like gymnastics) that required BULK amount of make-up so most of what I wear is stage make-up. I love how it makes me stand out in my photos and performances."

"I don't consider myself a particularly creative person and I'm never really happy with the photos I take in general. Although I feel like a very sexual being, it was confronting to see naked photos of myself from all kinds of angles. This shoot forced me to really appreciate and accept my body in all of its nakedness and imperfections. I shot the photos in three sessions over five days, as some things weren't working out the way I wanted and then I would get more ideas. In the end I just had to accept what I had already done was good enough and let go of the idea of perfect shots. I still had a lot of fun doing it and played some really great music to help me get playful. I love being in my bedroom with my books, music, and collected trinkets from trips overseas or wanderings in the bush. It's my sanctuary and I don't get to share it nearly as much as I'd like. I discovered myself getting wet on several occasions and enjoyed pausing the shoot to pleasure myself and really enjoy that feeling of wetness and the freedom of just letting everything go. I really appreciate the opportunity to participate in I Shot Myself and the positive benefits I've gained from doing it."

"Today is the kind of day where you just want to cuddle up on the sofa with a hot chocolate watching kitsch movies. However I decided to get active as I genuienly like misty, rainy weather and can't wait to get outside once I see a grey sky. So I thought to myself why not combine my favourite kind of weather with a favourite activity? Equipped with my little camera I made my way on to the rooftop of my appartment block. I got nacked quickly, enjoying the liberty of the wind and the rain settling on my skin and ruffling up my hair. After a while I started having a look around just to realise that people from the other flats could see me. At first shocked I came to like it and once again was engrossed by the process of shooting myself. Hopefully you'll be as engrossed by my photos!"

"I've taken photos of myself before, but never have I really... LOOKED at myself. That's what happened when I started taking these pictures. I finally noticed the scars from when I was young. I noticed random birthmarks and stretchmarks from birthing my daughters. I saw all my flaws and was scared. Now I see the beauty in those flaws and I want to discover more about myself."
