"I was surprised by how quickly I relaxed and enjoyed taking the photos rather than being preoccupied with being self conscious. The lighting in my room is really nice, especially in the middle of the day. I have a large window and a large mirror in my room so even though its tiny it worked well and I was able to make the most of the space. I only took a few photos outside because its a communal garden and I don't think the lady who lives under me would appreciate watching me frolic in the garden naked in the middle of the day (or maybe she would). I had a fun time taking the photos; I felt confident, beautiful and in control. It was a great experience."

"This shoot was so much fun- I knew I wanted to shoot with flowers but wasn't sure what type or where to get them! In the end I ended up just taking them from my front yards rose bush which was great because the pink color was perfect. But when at one point during the shoot while tucking one of the roses into my bra - A BUG CRAWLED OUT! I screamed and probably caused quite a stir in my house. But I got him safely outside and continued with the shoot. It was a bit of a reminder of how you cant predict everything- just how the shoot was. A lot of it just came naturally and each shot came after the previous without too much planning or thought. In the end I felt really confident about my choices and so good about myself! It was especially fun delving into my feminine side - which I don't necessarily consider my strongest characteristic."

"I have wanted to cover myself in milk for ages! I am happy with how the pictures came out. I wanted to show that being natural and happy can be beautiful. I used to wear so much make up and be so worried about my body but since I have grown older I've realized that I prefer to present myself more naturally."

"I was lucky enough to take these photos at my friends house who happens to have the most amazing garden. It was raining lightly and had this beautiful smell of wet rain forest. I was frolicking around his garden like a tree fairy onto to remember why I was there in the first place: to take photos! It was an amazing experience, being naked in such a magical garden."

"En tant que designer industriel, je suis très intéressée par tous les types de matériaux. Pour ce shooting, j'ai voulu travailler sur l'interaction entre la peau et différents types de matériaux. Jouer avec la douceur et la dureté, la chaleur et la froideur, le mat et le brillant... Je suis très contente du résultat, avec cette constante (mon corps nu) et ces différents matériaux, donnant à chaque fois une nouvelle ambiance à la photo./As an industrial designer, I'm very interested in all kind of materials. For this shoot, I wanted to work on the interaction between the skin and different kind of materials. Let's play with soft and hard, cold and warm, matte and reflective... I am very happy with the result, having this constant (which is my naked body) and those different materials, giving each time a new atmosphere to the picture."

"The red earth, my red hair, an adventure and a cheeky bit of the Aussie bush. There's nothing quite like the sun on your skin and the wind in your hair on a hot summer's day. Come with me."

"Late afternoon sunlight cascades across my body in dappled patterns, casting shifting leaf shadows on my belly, breasts and thighs. I basked in the warmth, moving between sun and shadow and loving the way the warm glow of sunset lights up my skin. This set was shot in the sun room at my friend's house where I was staying during my 5 week visit to Australia from London. The sunlight here is so beautiful and always makes me happy. I loved playing with the mirror poses, particularly how cute it looked when I pulled my knickers down but kept them around my thighs! I love that sort playful nude-but-not-nude tease. After a while I couldn't resist stepping outside to lean against the tree that had been casting its leaf shadow on my body, snuggle against it and feel the rough caress of its bark and the soft touch of its leaves. The warmth of direct sunshine on skin, being naked outdoors and enjoying the scents and textures of nature, always gets me excited. I guess I'm a bit of an ecosexual!"

"I began to shoot the folio in several sessions for I live with others and find it difficult to be alone long enough for a one time session. Doing so made me feel relief, and more true to this fragmentation of the self for I am not a permanent self but a multiplicity of sensitive moving forces, permeable by light, space, objects and energy around me. Inside each particular landscape I also created a different image of myself. This folio contains the following selfs: garden in mirror, bedroom with outdoor boots -still with dirt on-, in bed converted by changing light (soft morning, end afternoon nothingness, burning candle). Enjoy."

"I had so much fun with my shoot, I found a pink vintage Furisode Juban (long sleeved under-kimono) while shopping with a friend so I wanted to incorporate it in some way. I thought it would be fun to juxtapose some shots of the soft pink silk and flowers with others using the starkness of the black silk rope in some fun improvised shibari. I love the way rope feels, it's comfy and gentle but it also has so much potential for roughness, so it's enjoyable both in an aesthetic and sensory way. The strappy lingerie has a very similar feel to the black rope and I love the way my nips peek out of it! I wanted the shoot to be very minimalist so as to make the few clothes and props really stand out, and I think it came together well. Knowing the pictures were going to end up online made it much more racy too. I'm a serious exhibitionist and especially while wearing the rope I got really into it. Overall it was a great experience, I liked the opportunity to confront some of my hangups about parts of my body I'm still learning to love as much as the others, and the chance to be creative in a new way."

"This was a lot of fun. I'd been waiting to have the house to myself for days. I felt a lot sexier during this shoot than in my last IShotMyself folio. I'm truly a sun worshipper at heart and I wanted to show that in my shoot. I really love body paint and I found some! My friends tell me that's how my inner self comes out at festivals, so why not at home in the back yard? It was a little strange answering the door when our neighbour dropped off my bike, but hey, so what if I'm at home in the middle of the day covered in paint? It feels good! There's a lot of odd, fun things lying around my house. I think that reflects my personality, so I tried to use them to show that. I love having fun and I just love the sun!"

"I'm the most unorganized person ever. My shoot was great fun and I had a blast running around the yard in the nude, hoping that my neighbours wouldn't bust me. It was great fun and had a blast all round."

"Shooting myself in the backyard at my house, which I share with my 5 male housemates, was a bit of a thrill. Luckily it was just my gay friend who caught me during my shooting. I managed to find a bit of me time anyway and was able to enjoy the shooting on a sunny day. One of my neighbors also lurked over the fence and had a great time watching me secretly! A day where everybody was happy! The shooting is basically what I am doing on a typically day off. Tanning in the sun, swimming in the pool, chilling in the hammock and so on. I reckon I will do all this stuff naked more often from now on."

"It's so hot, I have to open my blouse... I love to let my hair down after work. I'm a naughty girl Mr. Beck, can you spank me? Give my your mobile number but don't tell anybody... shhh. Can you tell which boob is smaller? Hey boss, you should work late today. Well, do you like my new workwear? You ought to go have dinner with your wife... Hey boss, where are you when I need you? "I've modelled for friends before, but this was my first time taking photos of myself. Before this shoot I kind of frowned upon selfie culture - I guess because of the conservative attitudes towards nudity and self-expression I was taught by my parents. But now I see taking selfies is just like modelling for others, the only difference being that selfies give me the freedom to express whatever I want in my photos. This shoot is one step in my exploration of body acceptance and radical self-love."
