"I had a lot of fun with the shoot. I didn't have many options for spaces where I could comfortably and privately take photos (except for in my room), but this limitation meant that I had to be creative with angles/props/poses. I learnt what angles looked best (and where I looked the most at ease), so I figured out how it was possible to capture the right image just with a handheld camera. By the end of the shoot, I didn't really want to stop! I was very comfortable with my body and I love the way the photos turned out. The whole experience was truly liberating."

"I had so much fun shooting myself! I went up to the mountains, walked deep into the bush with a huge mirror and speakers and listened to some Electro swing. I got the perfect spot! All was going well until after being there for and hour I felt some stinging pain on my bum. I take a look and 3 leeches are there, sucking on me butt! Safe to say I finished the rest of my shoot at home. You can probably see where those nasty blood sucking leeches got me on the bum!"

"After a long road trip along the beautiful coastline, my partner and I decided it was time to get some sun. Where better to go for a full body tan than a beautiful nude beach? We found one in a prime location overlooking the harbour, where we could see for miles across the clear waters. I was hesitant at first, but quickly stripped off to my bare skin, exposing myself to the full delights of the sand, crystal waters, and the sun rays. It was such a relieving experience! I didn't have a care in the world, and for once in my life I felt free to be myself. To be honest, I was loving the attention I was getting from the other nudists on the beach - I even loved watching an older man got off to me taking raunchy photos of myself along the cliff face. He was so keen he even let me take a photo of him. I love marine life too and managed to find some pretty interesting shells as I walked along the high tide mark, as well as a dead crab, which I named Gimli (Yes I am a huge LoTR fan!). Gimli's actually sitting right next to me as I type this - best souvenir I got from my trip along the coast. "

"This shoot was so much fun! At first I was a bit nervous as I had never done anything like this before. I mean, I've checked out all my parts in a mirror, you know, as a sex ed kinda thing, but I had never taken pictures of myself naked. It felt great. I loved being creative with it and seeing how I could incorporate different things into the shoot. I got very turned on during the shoot which made me much more confident and experimental. Before I the shoot I asked my friend if I could use his room, but I didn't mention why. The next day he told me he found my clothes in his room and was wondering how they ended up there."

"I hope this shoot reflects my inner child: innocence, curiosity, and a playful cheekiness that I've been learning to channel into everyday life. Sometimes things are too mundane. I sleep hugging the giant toy shark every night, so I figured he should make an appearance. He doesn't have a name yet though. I really had as much fun shooting this as it looks. It was like playing dressups but without the clothes. P.s. Strangely enough pink is not my favourite colour!"

"For this shoot I wanted to do a fun, summery, 70's theme. I really love the carefree, sexual nature of that era. I'm really into the films and music of the 70's too. I collect vintage clothing so the shoes and skirt I'm wearing are both original 1970's deadstock clothing, which means it was shop stock that was never purchased, thus never worn. It's basically like having a time machine to go shopping with! Being naked outside is always so lovely, feels very liberating, just have to remember to apply sunscreen EVERYWHERE."

"I found it very liberating doing a shoot outside in the nature. Made me feel free as if I am an animal myself, helped me to realese and be creative, for example climbing a tree, being expressive in my poses, using props such as pizza box. I enjoyed doing the shoot really fast and not thinking about what the pictures are going to look like, but letting them make themselves in a very spontaneous way."

"I feel like the human body is an interesting phenomenon, there's so many different versions! I find great pleasure in the beauty of the human form... it's interesting to explore that."

"I found a quaint balcony in my flat building for the shoot, and thank god it was a warm, 30 degree day, otherwise I would have felt quite nippy outside. I spent the whole day on this balcony for the shoot, and apart from a small spider trying to crawl up my bum, it was quite enjoyable. Getting into all the different angles, especially the shoots that were done with my feet, were very tricky, but it was worth it in the end. I thought for a good laugh, I'd draw happy and sad faces on my nipples too as I've always found that they never become erect at the same time, so it's quite appropriate. Certain angles also made me queef, which was pretty funny. I highly reccommend shooting for IShotMyself. As well as a feeling of empowerment afterwards, it is a really good way to spend a day by yourself, especially if you need to get back in touch with who you really are underneath the facade you put on every morning. I loved it!"

"I was surprised by how quickly I relaxed and enjoyed taking the photos rather than being preoccupied with being self conscious. The lighting in my room is really nice, especially in the middle of the day. I have a large window and a large mirror in my room so even though its tiny it worked well and I was able to make the most of the space. I only took a few photos outside because its a communal garden and I don't think the lady who lives under me would appreciate watching me frolic in the garden naked in the middle of the day (or maybe she would). I had a fun time taking the photos; I felt confident, beautiful and in control. It was a great experience."

"This shoot was so much fun- I knew I wanted to shoot with flowers but wasn't sure what type or where to get them! In the end I ended up just taking them from my front yards rose bush which was great because the pink color was perfect. But when at one point during the shoot while tucking one of the roses into my bra - A BUG CRAWLED OUT! I screamed and probably caused quite a stir in my house. But I got him safely outside and continued with the shoot. It was a bit of a reminder of how you cant predict everything- just how the shoot was. A lot of it just came naturally and each shot came after the previous without too much planning or thought. In the end I felt really confident about my choices and so good about myself! It was especially fun delving into my feminine side - which I don't necessarily consider my strongest characteristic."

"I have wanted to cover myself in milk for ages! I am happy with how the pictures came out. I wanted to show that being natural and happy can be beautiful. I used to wear so much make up and be so worried about my body but since I have grown older I've realized that I prefer to present myself more naturally."

"I was lucky enough to take these photos at my friends house who happens to have the most amazing garden. It was raining lightly and had this beautiful smell of wet rain forest. I was frolicking around his garden like a tree fairy onto to remember why I was there in the first place: to take photos! It was an amazing experience, being naked in such a magical garden."

"En tant que designer industriel, je suis très intéressée par tous les types de matériaux. Pour ce shooting, j'ai voulu travailler sur l'interaction entre la peau et différents types de matériaux. Jouer avec la douceur et la dureté, la chaleur et la froideur, le mat et le brillant... Je suis très contente du résultat, avec cette constante (mon corps nu) et ces différents matériaux, donnant à chaque fois une nouvelle ambiance à la photo./As an industrial designer, I'm very interested in all kind of materials. For this shoot, I wanted to work on the interaction between the skin and different kind of materials. Let's play with soft and hard, cold and warm, matte and reflective... I am very happy with the result, having this constant (which is my naked body) and those different materials, giving each time a new atmosphere to the picture."
