"Shooting this with my new camera was a lot more difficult than any of the other folios I've submitted to ISM. The camera was heavier and it was difficult to focus it and to get certain angles. But the hard work just made me appreciate this folio even more. Most of my photos here on ISM are bright, colorful, and cheery. To switch it up a bit I shot this in the back storage room of my house. I've always found this room very creepy and I usually won't even go into it at night. I wasn't spooked while shooting because there was beautiful, gloomy, rainy day light shining through the window. I tried to capture curves, bones, shadows, emotion. Things that I like about myself, things that make me human."

"During the shoot, I felt sexy, wild, and free just like the sea. I was brought to a place of comfort with myself and my body. Sometimes it's hard to remember how beautiful we are on the outside and this shoot was a reminder that I am in fact beautiful. I felt wonderful walking around in nature naked. The shoot was lots of fun and I'd encourage other women to try it out."

"I went cliff climbing at Cathedral Cove and spent time in the rocks. The light was loud, there was a bird skull, a feather, a naked body, a wonderful sky and a wonderful ground."

"It's important to feel good in yourself and believe in in yourself. I knew that I was confident but this experience confirmed it for me. Finally to be naked it's not horrible. I think that I can try again the experience because I'm feeling good with that now/Il est important de se sentir bien dans sa peau et avoir confiance en soi. "I shot myself was such an unexpected challenge. It took me several days to take my clothes off and start snapping photos. I found myself getting shy with my body. The best part was when I worked up the courage to start snapping I decided to get some outside photos. I set up a mirror on my patio and was so absorbed in the shoot that 20 minutes later when I turned around I had a crowd of Westpac employees crowded at there window, watching me take nudes. Pretty sure I made their week."

"I was nervous at first and this was the first time I had ever taken pictures with the intention of having them posted. I was surprised at the confidence it gave me. I've never felt so free."

"Growing up I was told that nudity is vile and disgusting. Because of this not only did I never like my body but I never found how it could be attractive to other people. This photo shoot made me realize how people can see my body is beautiful. I saw the softness of skin, I saw my curves and imperfections in the glowing light of day. I saw the way people see me and finally for once in my life I fell in love. And it wasn't a love that I felt for another person, for my sister or friends. I felt a love for myself. At the age of 22, after being nude, vulnerable, alone and out there to the point where I wasn't only caught getting naked in the park but I almost got run over - in an alleyway, got yelled at - all completely stark naked! As crazy that moment was, it was incredible and hilarious. Without Feck, I wouldn't have these precious memories."

"I shot my photos on a relaxed and sunny Sunday afternoon in front of my glass doors that open out to my big communal garden that I share with around 30 neighbours. Knowing that all these people could at any moment be watching me added an extra element of cheekiness and fun to everything."

"It was the creative aspect of IShotMyself that enticed me to contribute. I enjoyed being able to decide for myself which location to shoot in, which props and which theme to go with in the shoot. I had a perfect garden setting so I wanted to create a tea-party effect, then I wanted to go a step further and make myself look like a porcelain pot or garden cherub. When I was making my project I found out how hard it is to photograph my body on my own, and to portray the ideas I had in my head through the camera. IShotMyself encouraged me to play around, investigate and find out what shapes I was capable of making. It was hard to capture the obvious cherub poses while expressing my sexy side, but I took on the challenge head on and enjoyed the shots I came out with. A good opportunity to push my boundaries and get creative."

"I shot myself on a rooftop, and the view up there was stunning. I was able to see all the city and the surrounding suburbs. I had lots of fun! The floor was a bit muddy and I got dirt all over my body but I think they colour looks nice on my skin. I was a bit shy at the begining because everyone could possibly see me but after a little while I became really confident. It was a great experience."

"I drove around with the car and parked at a pretty dead place. Then I started to take nude photos of myself in the car. The funny thing about it was that there were sometimes a few people with their dogs and I had to put on my jacket for a while until they were gone. I felt pretty comfortable during the shoot even though there were people around./Ich bin mit dem Auto herum gefahren und hab mich auf einen verlassenen Park gestellt. Dann hab ich Nacktfotos von mir gemacht. Wizig war, dass doch des oefteren Autos oder Hunde spaziergaenger vorbei kamen und ich mich des oefteren wieder kurz angezogen habe. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefuehlt waehrend des shoots obwohl manchmal leute drum herum waren."

"I thought I'd keep it real and shoot in my bedroom like I do when I'm have a drink, listening to music and talking to boys on my phone. It usually leads to exchanging selfies and it's so much fun. Although once my housemate walked in on me and caught an eyeful - it was quite exciting!"

"I shot myself in my apartment on a nice, sunny afternoon. I had some wine, chocolate and the whole place to myself. I shot a few photos on my balcony but it was so hot I think I burnt my bum a few times. I lost myself in the shoot and stopped feeling like I was naked. I felt excited, like I was wearing a new outfit."
