"It was lovely sunny day, and I went over to my friend's house and played among the plants with my camera, wearing some of my festish gear. My naughty clothes rarely see outside my bedroom, let alone broad daylight, and it was fun to prance around while my friend had a smoke and watched me. At one point I accidentally stepped on her mirror and broke it, but the shards of mirror created a beautiful effect and I think it added another element to the shoot. All in all, a great day!"

"The sun tickles my toes, my body is covered in pattern made of shadow and light. The sky above, a bed made of moss and leaves right under me. With my eyes open I dream the sweetest dreams of love and laughter. My ears are filled with the sound of crickets while the wind is blowing me a hug. Most of the pictures published here were taken in our beautiful treehouse where I also slept the night. The treehouse is quite big so at some point you are just above the pavement. One day when I was shooting myself up there some acorns were falling down, just in the moment when an eldery couple passed by... You probably can guess the end of the story."

"Two of my close friends told me about I Shot Myself and it sounded great! Once I got my clothes off and began to take pictures I really started to enjoy it and even take shots of myself I've never taken before. I had a great few hours running round my house naked taking pictures of me doing my every day stuff. It has made me feel really empowered and proud of myself for what I've achieved. I'm not the worlds best photographer but I am so happy with some of the fluke good shots I got! It was a great experience, I will be recommending it to everyone."

"It was a deadly hot day, the air full of moisture. I felt dirty, sticky and unappealing. I started shooting when I awoke. I was in my own space, my home; with my plants, my animal children and endless black coffee. The more I shot myself, the more I became one with myself, and one with the day: the frolicking sun speckles, the dripping sweat and the fibres sticking to my bare body. Happy. Connected. A lady on the beach got mad and yelled at her husband because he was watching the whole time. The second time I shot was when it was raining in the country. "It was way too dark inside, so I did the shoot in my little backyard, but it kept raining! The sun came out for a bit, so hopefully I got some good shots before the camera died. "To shoot myself I commandeered an abandoned building near my house. I bought a 30 meter extension chord especially for it and gathered every multi box I could find in my share house. Upon exploring the site I realised there was a surplus of halogen lights available and set these up in the mound of psychedelic rubbish all collected from within the building. I liked the idea of natural beautiful and clean skin contrasting with the dusty junk all around me. It's like the death of a party in there, a doof graveyard."

"I revealed my physical form, combined with my outward sense of playfulness. I only wish my arms were longer so I could've captured more! I think next time I will play around a little more with lighting and mirrors as I'm interested in shadows and the reflections that people don't see in public."

"I shot myself in my own room, which overlooks a very busy street. I pulled up all the blinds which surround the room with floor to roof windows. I was a little nervous at first, I kept running into the lounge room to hide from people looking or walking past. But then I put some tunes on and started dancing around my room and I began to forget about the outside world. It was funny to think that people walking past might have had a peek at my bum!"
