"I initially planned to do shoot outside in a forest as I love outdoors, but I could not schedule that due to my nanny job. So finally I decided to shoot it in my bedroom while the baby was having a nap in her room. It has been a very warm afternoon and being naked was the best thing to do. Even after a couple of pictures I was already sweating... So I tried to escape by the window to go on the roof but the window could not open much, I stayed inside.../Pas facile de trouver un endroit tranquille et sympa, j'avais donc prevu de faire le shooting en foret comme j'adore etre dehors. Mais je n'ai pas reussi a programmer cela a cause de mon travail de nanny. J'ai donc finallement decide de faire cela dans ma chambre pendant que le bebe faisait la sieste dans sa chambre. C'etait une apres-midi particulierement chaude et etre nue etait la meilleure chose a faire. Meme apres quelques poses, je transpirait deja... J'ai donc essayer de m'echapper par la fenetre pour aller sur les toits mais la fenetre ne s'ouvrait pas plus, je suis restee dedans"

"A couple of months ago I spotted a clearly long-abandoned warehouse on my way home from work - all of its windows were broken and it was covered inside and out with layers of sprawling graffiti. Open to the elements as it was, I knew it had to have great light and lots of texture. I had to shoot there. When this project came up, I knew my opportunity had come. With my housemate acting as a lookout, I found a couple of small holes which required a little gymnastics to get though, and emerged into a huge daylit space, covered with junk, debris and broken glass. Privacy at last! For two hours I indulged in the pleasure of exploring the space and light, and how they related to my body. I explored all of the ways I could think of holding the camera out, and enjoyed playing with the mirror I had picked up at an op shop just that day. For me, this is a fairly ideal way to spend an afternoon."

"I chose to do a sunset photoshoot as I feel this is the most beautiful part of the day, watching the sunset helps me to relax and unwind as the day comes to an end, knowing that tomorrow will be a new day. Although at first I was a little nervous, once I started taking photos I was on a roll and started to feel more comfortable and confident."

"I came home early from uni and freshened up. I started shooting in my room and it went well at first but then I started feeling a bid odd about it. So I grabbed my friend and we went for a drive. I started shooting while they were driving, slowly getting undressed and taking photos until I was completely naked. I did see some people catch a glimpse of me. I had way too much fun doing this shoot."

"This shoot was amazing! I had so much fun feeling like I was in my natural element being naked. It was pretty interesting exploring my backyard like that as I hadn’t before... I found so many cute little plants and various things to play with. I played my music really loud, started smoking my vape, and got really into it: having an awesome time and entering something of a trance."

"This shoot was done in my living room. There is a beautiful persian carpet and I thought that it contrasted well with my nakedness./J'ai pris ces photos dans mon salon, il y a un magnifique tapis persan et je trouvais que le contraste avec mon corps nue serait beau."

"I think it is so important for women to be comfortable with their sexuality, and to be able to love themselves fully. Sex should be something that is enjoyed completely, that women can get as much or little out of as they want. A woman's sex is hers, how she chooses to express this is completely her choice."

"I was talking with a friend about doing a new folio for Ishotmyself, but I had no ideas at all about what to do! We were drinking tea at that moment and I started to do some stupid things with the tea bag, hanging it from my nipple piercing. "YOU SHOULD DO THAT!!" she said. So here I am! I really hope you like it./ Estaba hablando con una amiga sobre hacer una nueva sesión para Ishotmyself, pero no tenia ni idea de qué podia hacer! En aquel momento estabamos bebiendo unas tazas de té, y empecé a hacer el absurdo con la bolsita, colgándola del piercing de mi pezón. ¡"ESO ES LO QUE TIENES QUE HACER!" me dijo mi amiga. así que aquí estoy. ¡¡Espero que os gusten las fotos!!"

"When I was shooting outside at the park, it was a real adventure. There were people everywhere so it was kind of hard to keep it secret but I enjoyed. I love nature and being outside, so that's why I was shooting outside. I love the beauty of the female and everyone should feel the same. By shooting yourself you can express this feeling and you can share it with other persons."

Someone decided it would be a good idea to leave me in charge of the gallery space filled with smut. In the quiet periods between visitors, alone and surrounded by pornographic art... naturally, I felt the urge to make some of my own. This folio documents how I amused myself throughout the show.

"I stacked the three milk crates from my backyard on top of a deck chair and climbed up the makeshift tower onto my roof. I was really feeling my outfit that day, so I decided to make it a feature of the shoot. My crop top says a lot about my personality, as I am very comfortable to wear a sports bra in my normal everyday wear, mostly for the comfort factor. For this reason I'd never really seen a sports bra as something that could be 'sexy' - but as I began to play around, I found that it was fun to use it in a sexual way. The skirt shots were pretty natural as well. Something about the colour and pattern just felt quite erotic, as did my glasses. My face was quite serious, and I didn't even realise I wasn't smling UNTIL I heard an ice cream struck drive pass and the hilarity of it (being naked on a roof with ice cream truck music in the background) just made me crack up. It was more fun than I could have predicted!"

"For this shoot I chose my bathroom and specifically the bath. This is the place I go to relax and escape stress! I can take my make up off, put my hair up and feel clean. I lit candles because I love the smell of burning wax and candle light is beautiful. It was a strange experience at first, to shoot myself naked over a hundred times but I loved experimenting with artistic creativity. I can shoot the bits I love about my body, where I feel comfortable doing it. I told the story of a lazy Sunday morning, starting off in my bed, clean white sheets and undressing for a warm relaxing bath. clean and cosy. I enjoyed how beautiful I looked in the photos."

"For the shoot I decided to go with a passion of mine - nature! I trecked out to what I thought was a deserted patch of bushland, stripped off and started taking a few snaps when moments later a lady walked past me and scared me half to death! I really loved being naked outside, the open air on my skin was an amazing feeling. Although it was a bit awkward at times, like trying to muster up my confidence, positioning the camera and laying around in sticks, it was really awesome experience. I now feel more confident in myself and my body."

"The shooting is seeing through my passions which are music (so we have the guitars, the amps and the records), cooking, playing playstation and going to the beach. It's been pretty funny all the way through, I wish I had done this before!"

"I turned my bedroom into the love parlour of a Grecian godess, a godess of red wine and lust! I take inspiration from Dionysus, the Greek God of wine who is always depicted naked and described as "womanly". Most of the shoot was taken in the soft morning light. The gentle rays of silver morning sun illuminate the light tones of my skin contrasting against the maroon and burgandy shades of the grapes and flooring. My favourite part of the shoot was twisting the long grape vines around and around my thighs and legs, torso and neck. I made a crown of vine too - fitting for a godess of wine! The feeling of the cool, plump grapes on my skin was electrifying. The great thing about ISM is you get the opportunity to experiment with placing objects on your skin and parts of your body that you have never had the sensation of doing before."
