"Living in a gloriously feminine part of Australia inspired me to jump over my back fence and expose some countryside skin while being tickled by the grass and dodged by the cows. I absolutely loved the experience and the chance to unleash my creativity through a new medium that's all about womanly self-empowerment. And I think women should wear crowns of flowers way more often. We are all so beautiful!"

"I was shooting in my house, in my housemate room, while she was at school, her room has more day light and the bed is beautiful for pictures. It was a little difficult to take those pictures because next to my apartment is a construction site, so I was very careful, no one will see me naked!/Eu estava atirando na minha casa, no meu quarto companheiro de casa, enquanto ela estava na escola, seu quarto tem mais luz do dia ea cama é bonito para fotos. Foi um pouco difícil de tomar essas fotos, porque ao lado do meu apartamento é um canteiro de obras, então eu estava muito cuidado, ninguém vai me ver nua!"

"There are lots of people at the nude beach today. I'm an introvert but I love that there are so many people around, because they're all naked too. We're all totally free, enjoying the sun and ocean. We have that much in common. There are lots of naked old men walking around, and that's an interesting sight to see. This is my first time at the nude beach so I've never seen anything like that before. I love being in the sun, but did you know that redheads absorb more vitamin C than non-ginger people? So I can't stay for very long or else I'll burn to a crisp."

"I made the folio in my apartment. I live with two guys who are nearly always at home, and also had a friend from Scotland staying in my room with me, so finding the time to myself for this was almost impossible! But somehow I managed to get it done. I tried to be original so I used a massive mirror and balanced myself in my window, careful not to fall into all of the junk my roommates had thrown outside. It was a super fun experience and totally worth it!"

"For my shoot I decided to do a tropical/safari theme. I tried to incorporate as many colours and patterns as I could, such as leopard print in a range of different colours. I used flamingos too, as they’re one of my favourite birds. Unfortunately it was a bit cold and rainy on the day I did my shoot so I gathered my things and headed to my friend’s house, where I used her spare room. I had heaps of fun playing around with all my props and I was super excited when I saw that she had a tropical fish mirror which complemented my theme perfectly!"

"When I was shooting myself I wanted to focus on the lighting and the way it complemented my body positions in the photos. I sat mostly next to the window and placed the mirror up against the window to create the bright photos. I found it easier taking photos in the mirror as I was able to see what pose I was taking and how I could change it. I experimented with the mirrors, placing them on the floor so I was able to take many photos of my body from different angles."

"I embraced my curves, the divine feminine, mother earth and her treasures. The experience was challenging, nerve racking, fun, flirtatious, creative and sensual. The weather was on my side for the hour I got down to the deserted beach. The sunshine came out to play and I found a beautiful mini waterfall, which was so peaceful."

"Funny story, I grew up in this back yard in south Texas, but only my ex-stepfather lives there now. He was out of town, and I knew where the spare key was kept. I undressed in the bathroom and went out back to do my shoot. Afterwards, I went to the back door only to realize it had locked behind me. After a moment of panic I was forced to run down the alley, stark naked, and climb over the fence in the front yard before making it safely back through the front door!"

"I had so much fun shooting with the help of two of my friends. The one friend I didn't expect to get involved got really excited to find good spots and give suggestions. At one point we all forgot that people might think it strange to see four people climbing around in the bush, one naked and three fully dressed. When a man walked past us, I didn't even react or cover up until he'd definitely seen everything, at which point I ran away and hid behind a rock."

"Morgan and I had heaps of fun doing IShotMyself together. We shot in a few different locations but my favorite place we shot was in an alley way off a busy street. So it was pretty funny getting butt naked in this really public area and we couldn't stop laughing. I think Morgan and I look really nice in photos together and we compliment each other well. I was really glad to have the opportunity to shoot with Morgan and it was really fun!" - Lucy_D

"My shoot was very spontaneous and relaxed. I was away for the weekend with my best friend and she was sleeping the whole day because she needed to recover from the night before. I was lying in my bed and was naked anyway so I thought, "now is the time to give ishotmyself a try". I started with a few pictures and felt comfortable from the very first second. Soon I tried some different poses and realized that it was not that easy to get my full body in one picture. I have to pay respect to all the girls out there who have been able to make some really nice artisitc pieces by themselves and make it look so easy. When I first had a look at some pictures I couldn't stop because it was weird but also very exciting so see myself like this. I continued and started touching myself because I felt sexy and confident. As you can see in the pictures I had a really good time and I enjoyed myself a lot. The funny part of the story is that my friend was sleeping in the other bed for the whole shoot but didn't notice anything. cheeky girl!"

"It's always necessary to make piña coladas on the beach, especially when you can get naked and frolic around. I'm always afraid that the water might be too cold, so I think it's best to just jump right in. The ocean is terrifying but I love it. I love the taste of it and the way it makes my skin feel. I even love sand between my butt cheeks - just kidding! That's not the greatest feeling ever. The beach is the greatest place to lose yourself. You can also let go of any insecurities. At the beach I don't feel shy or nervous, I just feel happy."

"I had a great time shooting myself. I just discovered a few new freckles in my back that I didn't notice before. I am very present and conscious with my body now. The way I walk, stand and sit. My body is the mirror of my way of thinking, how much I look after it determines how I feel with myself. Just loving myself and everything my body is and has./Me diverti tomando las fotos a mi misma. He descubierto unas pecas en mi espalda que no me habia dado cuenta que las tenia. Estoy muy presente y conciente con mi propio cuerpo ahora. La forma en que camino, me paro y me siento. Mi cuerpo es el espejo de mi forma de pensar cuanto mas lo cuide sera como me siento. Solo me quiero con todo lo que mi cuerpo es y tiene."

"This shoot was really exciting. I love all the greenery in my yard and thought it would make a beautiful background against my naked body. The weather was perfect, and the sun felt so warm on my bare skin. It was a very secluded place as well so I didn't have to worry about anyone walking by. I could just be me and express myself however I wanted. I hope you all enjoy this folio."

"The location for my shoot was just a stone's throw from home - my back yard! A circling helicopter and my cat provided an audience for me. I love the fig tree and graff piece a friend did on my shed, I think they made the location perfect. It was so much fun that I'm not phased about the multitude of glitter that I keep finding everywhere."
