"This is me, as I naturally am, in my home, looking the way it normally looks!"

"This folio was so fun to do! The Natural light and flowers on my skin, soft like the wind, make me feel in harmony with my body and had some really great and positives vibes. Colourful and powerful."

"I wanted to create a fun bedroom shoot, as my bedroom reflects my personality really well and is one of my favorite spaces. I also wanted to wear a string of pearls that I own because I think pearls are incredibly beautiful and feminine. They have an amazing texture and were fun to play with. I'm really glad I got to make use of them as I don't wear them very often! Once again, Elsa_H happened to be visiting while I did my shoot, she sneaks into the background of a couple of shots! I had heaps of fun creating this shoot, it was playful, comfortable and the perfect way to relax on a Sunday!"

"So it was pretty rainy while I was taking my shots. I enjoyed been so free outdoors - it was exciting doing it so close to my neighbours without them knowing. Only the dog caught me! It was interesting to see my body in different positions, and doing this shoot helped me accept and be confident in my body from all angles."

"I'm sure a few unsuspecting walkers got a nice view of my butt in the trees while I was parading around the forest. I suprised myself with how relaxed my body fell into position and how comfortably I shot msyself in a very natural, happy, cheeky sense, something that is often lost in our perceptions of ourselves when trying to identify beauty. I feel I captured a side of myself true to my soul, a side that shows you the very kooky crazy girl you'd meet on the street."

"My shoot was a time and a half! In the middle of winter I ran outside into my friend's beautiful overgrown yard to catch a few rare rays of sunlight. I nearly froze and continued the rest of the shoot inside as the day came to an end. It was a ton of fun experimenting with new angles and ways of seeing my body. I would reccommend the experience to anyone and I can't wait to see the end result."

"This shoot was intended to be a study of the fetishisation of the female body, something that I can relate to with my work as an exotic dancer. I created an enclosed location to reflect the constriction of the female form in modern beauty ideals, as designed by men. As I peeled away the layers, I tried to open up the space also, reflecting the freeing of my body, from fetishised, to natural and naked."

"Summer is my all time favorite season, but this one was hard on me. I was ashamed of my thoughts, my deeds, and my body. I wanted to prove that I can do something without feeling instant regret and overwhelmimg shame; I wanted once again to be in control of myself. Taking off my dress in the middle of a forest, trying to be sexy, and then actually being sexy, I felt confident and feminine for the first time in months... I have scratches all over my body from grass and branches, and, I guess, at some point I stepped into nettle, but I've restored something I didn't know was missing, and it feels amazing!"

"I like inspecting my body in different positions in the mirror. Looking sexy for myself and not trying to look sexy just for somebody else is a turn on for me. So taking photos of myself in my room and with a mirror was like me being natural and being a model in my own way."

"The concept of this shoot was playing with colors and how they accent my body, my tattoos, and the background in different ways. I also liked the idea of the streamers having a life of their own in the wind and out of my control. Being outside in the grass and sunshine also felt like such a natural place for naked skin to rest and roll on."

"I don't have a huge relationship with my vagina. I should do, but unfortunately I work too much or I'm at uni, or I'm with my boyfriend and I just get him to help me out. I would like him to play with more of the top, rather than trying to just shove it in and expect that to be a turn on, Which for most people it is not. Then he complains that I'm not turned on and I'm not wet, but it takes a bit more than that.I do enjoy oral sex but my boyfirend is generally too lazy and expects that a minute is going to make it all happen. But I can orgasm from oral sex, as long as I am on top. 69 poisiton is always the best."

"I am a day dreamer with a creative mind. I find inspiration in simple things, for instance, colour or the patterns leaves make when they fall from trees. This is why the setting for this shoot is simple. There is a mix of colour in painted walls, bricks, flowers and leaves. I shot myself on an incredibly cold day so the shoot actually involved brief stints in the courtyard and then running inside to a heater in between. My feet felt frozen at one point. This shoot was an incredibly liberating and empowering experience. Showcasing my body, how I wanted to, felt exhilarating. I feel calm and comfortable when I am naked so I wanted that to come across. I also favour strong poses to demonstrate that femininity and strength are not in opposition. I think, in our society today, women especially are taught to look for things in our body that we don’t like, or want to hide. I think this folio and the ‘I shot myself’ project in general is the ultimate lesson in self-acceptance. Being naked, there is nowhere to hide and nor should we feel compelled to hide any of our features. This folio is all about showcasing self-love and acceptance and the incredibly calming effect of this process."

"Ever after the ex that opened up my sexuality, I keep taking nude selfies every once in awhile to please myself and keep as a record. Never have I taken over 20 photos in a row, though. I got super excited during taking photos for the ISM project. Because I got a good reason to be naked outdoors!!!! That blew my mind. I didn't know it would be addictive! How did I know that I got real excited? Well, I got wet, ha! Nailed it~"

"One of my favourite things about this folio is the different outfits/looks I incorporate into the shoot, which reveal the different aspects of my personality. There are the hard femme, BDSM inspired shots, as well as the soft blues and creams of my gentle, more submissive side. During the shoot my girlfriend wanted to watch, but I had to tell her to leave the room because the look on her face was too distracting! I loved twisting and contorting my body to control the images I created, it made me feel very powerful. Huge turn on!"
