"I enjoyed the experience of photographing myself, perhaps because I've always wanted to be a model. I experimented with different spaces, items of clothing and props, and enjoyed this element of creativity. I particularly enjoyed cracking out my ballet shoes which I haven't done for ages. I have always loved dance but am never going to be a ballerina, although these shoes give me a shot of nostalgia, which I love. I used lots of different locations which helped me to experiment with different angles and lighting. I also used mirrors, and tried to get a wide variety of photos."

"The greenery in my backyard has always casted beautiful shadows, and for this reason I felt it would be the perfect spot to photograph myself. I chose to include an array of different materials of different colours and patterns - using the breeze to create movement with the materials. The sundress I wore at the beginning was silky on the inside and felt soft on my skin. Once I took it off, the breeze coated my body as if it were a form of clothing itself."

"Since I started my world trip, I've learnt so much about myself and the love of my body.
I was moved by the view of New Zealand, went into the deepest bushes, got eaten alive by thousands of sandflies (be more careful than I was haha), and realized espeacially when I pictured myself naked, that I'm great. It's exactly like Marilyn said, "being a sex symbol can be so hard". I'm not looking for that, but I like her beauty. Love yourself. The title of my shooting will be "being". I chose to shoot myself in nature to make this project even more natural than it can be. Like Adam and Eve, because we were suppose to be naked all a long."

"I did this shoot outside and it was so fun! I kept freaking out that someone would see me, or my parents would ask what I was doing bringing a huge mirror outside, but it was fine. It all worked and I had a blast!"

"It's my first time properly taking photos of myself and I'm having a lot of fun with it. You get to move around in all kinds of freaky ways, and you get to show people that it's fun and it's good for you. It's good to be confident in your body and I want people to know that everyone is beautiful in their own body and you should be proud of it. Plus taking photos is fun."

"While roomates are away, I take the camera, go out and play. Photos are taken in my favorite spots in my new home; in the garage and in my bedroom. while taking this set of photos, I have discovered a few things, such as how awesome it is to have a larger amount of space, although I can't shoot nude in my backyard due to my neighbors being up and out of doors at all hours. Also, how cold it gets in my new house at this time of night. Sure helps keep nipples perky though."

"I really enjoyed the feeling of getting out of my comfort zone. Being naked and taking pictures of myself. Curving and bending my body, it feels satisfying. Seeing my stretchmarks on my bottom just makes me feel beautiful. I love my curves and all my edges. All my perfect imperfections."

"I had lots of fun shooting myself, I chose to wear casual things I'd wear lounging around the house, I think it helped me feel more comfortable when they came off. I wanted the mood to be cosy, like you would feel like curling up on the bed next to me and snoozing after looking at all the photos."

"I shot this folio indoors as I wanted to have fun experimenting with poses and the angles the my body could make under sunlight. I couldn't bring myself to do away with nature completely so you will spot an indoor plant which I experimented with, covering pieces of my body whilst letting others show. Obviously I was thinking of 'Adam and Eve' in that moment! Although I found it difficult to get some shots due to low light, indoors it wasn't so cold so I felt my cheeks (both!) were pink and flushed which gives an innocent feel to the shoot. All in all I had so much fun letting go and being comfortable with my femininity and my body, pushing myself to try angles I hadn't before. Thank you FECK!"

"At first I had my insecurities, but as soon as I took my camera outside with me I embraced the freedom of exposure and felt totally empowered. Theres nothing quite like being naked in your own home and having such open minded, relaxed housemates embracing the experience only added to the positivity. I feel my folio captures these moments for me. Apart from wrestling a bike with two flat tires and experiencing pebbles, dirt and other nonsense trying to get about my Hoo-Haa, I saw my body in a way I never have before. It was bliss."

"Photographing myself Naked in the backyard of my share house, while all eleven of us were home added another layer of liberation. Shooting this was creative funky fun times. I used a total of 5 mirrors. Mid way through shooting I slipped, stood of the round mirror and broke it. So apparently I now have bad luck for 12 years, but at least it added 'edge' to the photo shoot."

"For this shoot I wore the fishnet body suit because I wanted to explore a different aspect of my sexuality. My first two shoots are expressions of a kind of Maiden energy and I for this one I wanted to stretch myself a little. I guess you could call it darker side. Interestingly, I started off really feeling this expression but kept returning to my natural demeanor of sweetness and play. Dressing up in fishnets was a good start for me. I want to continue to explore a more dominant part of myself, a part that takes charge. I find it so easy to surrender with a lover but less able to be the one who is leading the journey."

"Shooting this folio was very interesting. Half of my photos were taken on a very gloomy, cold Melbourne day and the other half were taken on a warm and shiny Melbourne day. I did all of my shoots in my backyard and embraced nature in my photos. It allowed me to notice how nature made my body look in the cold and warm weather. It was a great experience and I loved being able to get out enjoy nature and my body at the same time."
